I created a blog for us! Our blog address is http://beeswithoutborders.wordpress.com. I went with wordpress because I can not access blogspot from my work. I have assigned myself as administrator to the account. If you are a member of Bees Without Borders I can give you posting privlages. You will need to sign up for an account on wordpress.
1. Go to wordpress.com
2. click SIGN UP NOW
3.Fill out user name and password info.
4. Select - Give me an account
5. Press next
You will than need to send me the email address you used to sign up for your account and I can add you as a contributor.
If anyone wants to create a banner for us for the blog let me know!

Hi Ladies!
Everyone is so excited about the new chapter! That is so awesome!
Do you think it will be confusing to have so many places to talk about chapter things? We now have a thread here on the MaryJanesFarm forum, we will soon have a "HenHouse" of our own which is our very only chapter house, message board, blog all rolled into one, and now it looks like two blogs?
Just wondering, though. It was just a question that popped into my head and I knew you ladies wouldn't mind me asking.

My thoughts on the outside blog is that maybe it will direct some traffic into MJF from outside. My understanding is that the "hen House" will be within this site. I was also wanting to give us a place to get started while we wait for the hen house to be built. Figure we better fuel this fire while it's still burning strong if you know what I mean! If we need to later we can "close" the blog and direct all traffic here.

I think weather we move in to a temporary blog or not while waiting for our Henhouse to be built that it's always a good thing to have outside sources that will drive traffic to the Mary Jane site and to our Chapter.
So since the blog has been created we will enjoy an additional source for others to find us! It's a great choice for directing more traffic to the site.
Also, once our Logo is decided on and finished there can be banners and sigtags to match it for members to use on their blogs, websites, etc. that will also drive traffic to the MJ site and our Chapter.
It's not going to be long before our Henhouse is ready to move in to and decorate so hang in there and keep the feedback coming in at the Chapter topic too.
The excitement is contagious!

If you belong to flickr and you have pink photos add them to the Passionately Pink for the Cure group. I added 47 photos today I wish I had more but since it is not my favorite color that is more than I thought I would be able to add. I am looking for things pink to add this month. I am sure most of us know someone who has had this or will have this. Prepare now to help your loved ones before you find out they have this add as many pictures as you can in pink.

Hey,
How about we add "Member Bios" as a Link section for each member (like we are doing our blogs and websites areas) then they will each have their own page and easy to find.?? Then the blogging topics can be for keeping members up to date on Chapter happenings.

I needed another place to post my thoughts and plans anyhoo, so I now have a word press blog called Panzymoon's blog... I hope to post a lot of my craftier and project type stuff there. It being the most painless blog to set up yet. I might just start another for all of my recipes

Annika just so you know - all you need to do is sign up with wordpress. You don't need to open a new blog. WE have started a blog for Bees Wtihout Borders. If you send me you email address that you used to sign up with your account I can add you so you can post DIRECTLY to the BWOB blog.
