I went to Spokane to visit Carol Sue and Teresa yesterday! It was lots of fun. We played around with homemade furniture polish. I never knew that Lavender Essential oil could be addictive, but you would think so the way Carol Sue was loving the lavender furniture polish! It was great!

We also went and got the things needed for Butter Cookies and making homemade laundry soap.

We chatted and worked on embroidery. Carol Sue used the butter cookie recipe that I found to whip up some dessert for us and before we knew it, it was 10pm!

I am really looking forward to getting to meet the other Spokane area farmgirls soon! I love getting to know everyone. I honestly do believe that women need to have these companionship circles, whether it be in a coffee house or at home or anywhere!

awww...cool....

Sooo, you're up for another get-together on Tuesday...?? And you're absolutely right about the companionship circles. Everyone needs a "tribe."

Needing companionship as women is a must and how often we negelect the very things that we need. I am grateful for the opportunity to meet you ladies and form relationships.

Hi ladies!

I couldn't resist going up again to meet Amanda (FireMama) and Lisa (LeSageFemme) and Lisa's mom. It was fun. I wish we could have spent more time together. We all sat around and chatted and did embroidery! It was a perfect afternoon!

I hope you all will be able to come down and visit me in Moscow sometime!

Thank you, Carol Sue, for showin' us around. We'll be headed back to the Quilt Bee tomorrow!! Twenty minutes is NOT enough in any fabric store. Its 10:30 and I'm contemplating starting that bunny/chick needle-punch project :) Mom is here and trying to sign up but it says her username is already taken???? But it not. Weird. Nice to see the Alee-o-most-prolific (and baby Nora too). Didn't get to see enough of FireMama......you had to leave too early! But I hope to see you ladies again..........SOON.
