Thanks for the Graphics.... I am going to snag all of the Sewing machines, but I still like my bee the best.... it looks like an old etching, just like the old treadle graphics...

But I will dig out my old laptop and work on it when I have the time, or maybe when Bev comes to visit.

got an idea...treadle machine with apron being sewn on it under the needle...and the bee as part of the decorative design on treadle..like a big part of the scroll work. Know what I mean? I really like the idea of apron being sewn right then on the treadle...this wouldn't be corny. What do ya'll think???

I'd like to join. I'll send you an email with my information Bev.
Can someone tell me how to find the fabric being used for the apron?
I've searched online and I'm finding nothing.

I have had a terrible time trying to find that fabric. Is anyone else looking for it and if you've found it could you please share where?
thanks.

Linda,
I think your idea is a good one.

Aunt George and Botanical Bath are working on locating the bee fabric. It is by Robert Kauffman and is new this year. It comes in pink, blue and yellow. There is a picture on the Apron sew a long thread (the new one)

I found some on e-bay......but don't despair....we are working on it.

I have a book coming from Dover pubs that will have treadles and other machine and needlework related drawings in it...could be best in the long run for printing purposes and internet graphics..

All of it's copyright free and be used "as is" or can be altered...

Plus I have my vintage collection of "copyright free" patterns, transfers, booklets, etc. that have very nice aprons and probably some treadles if I take a look.. will get to that...

Just sharing some random thoughts.

Have a great day!
