Absolutely! Happy Birthday Linda and a Farmgirl Hug as well...

Jess, you have to be ready to have your brain explode, this winter has been such a disaster dodgeball experience for your family. My upstairs bathroom ceiling is split and leaking, too much ice in the gutter, but that seems quite tolerable compared to giant deluges from above....

The sun is out and the snowplow guy just came and opened a pathway to the road. I am glad of that. Time for more coffee...

Happy Birthday Linda. How is it going with that new man in your life?

Jess, sorry to hear that you have yet another major incident. You definitely did not need this with the other problems and with you in-laws coming. They are still coming aren't they? My mil arrives in about 5 days.

I am not going to see the man again. He started sending me text messages that were innapropriate to send a lady. What is it about men these days...is it me or are they all just looking for one thing??? All over my neighborhood I hear that but I thought that an older man would be more old fashioned and respectful. Frankly, I am content being single and not looking anyway.

The good news: My x husband helped me paint 3 rooms of my apartment so it was a wonderful gift to me. Big job but it looks great! It's like having a new home! I'd like to take pics to show you the kitchen colors...I call them rooster colors......bright sunshine yellow & rust dark red.
We just went out to eat at a very nice place, fun and good food. It is Coopers...with the life size HUGE whale hanging from the ceiling. Danny was with us...he's distracting but still fun for me. My tummy is so stuffed!

Happy Birthday Linda.
Jess, that's two floods in the last month, enough already. I can just imagine he's not at all happy. Didn't need that mess or aggravation.

Now how'd I miss that!!!!
Sorry the new guys wasn't a gentleman-they are rare I imagine.
I am trying soo hard to teach my boys to be gentlemen-the older are very good husbands and daddies-I hope my youngest will be also.
Their daddy is a perfect gentleman ALL the TIME~really!
They learn by watching I suppose.

Jess- UGGGGGHHH! so sorry bout that office flood. He's gonna be a bear now, huh? Can't blame him- I would be too.
Did the condo ever get worked out? What a bunch of bad-all at once!!!

Sharon & Bonne-I'm putting a pkg in the mail to ya on Tuesday or so-hang on-we may not have mail service then-Mardi Gras,ya know. Anyway, soon.Just a little thank you for my goodies ya sent me

Steph- are ya moving things in this weekend? I can't keep up.

Spoke to Marilyn last week-she's having a hard time. So hard to see her discouraged.
I wish I lived closer so I could just pop in-but it's a 40 min trip from out here.
Busy sewing an APRON!!!! Of all things-
Talking bout aprons on the Apron thread!!!!

By the way-Hi there-hmmmm....... there was a new gal just here-now I forgot her name-old people...hmmmmp! Can't remember anything!!!!

Blessings,

several of my friends linda are married to husbands they adore, but cannot live with, so they maintain separate homes. some friends of ours bought 2 houses next door to each other and put in a gangway.

Oh, well....at least you got to see a movie or 2 , Linda, and now you don't have to be bothered by his food dislikes~LOL Red is a gentleman too. In fact when I first met him I had to put the moves on him!! ROFL We laugh about that now. He was so out of the dating loop trying to raise his twins and working 2 jobs I had to get his attention just like a Missouri mule, with a 2x4 to the head.

Autumn, which scent toots your noodle? Pink Sugar(think big girl cotton candy) or Tropical Paradise(think fresh fruity drink). I'm planning on whipping this weekend. maybe 1 of each?

wow....I really enjoy hearing your experiences and opinions....

Jess, your friends have some good ideas!
So far this works...but when I get mad at him I give myself some space and not talk to him for a few days....we get past it. I know that it is so much easier on him to not live full time with Danny boy...and also better for Danny. A pleasant partnership is a good thing. Alf and I have been best friends since we met...19 years ago...so that says something.

Linda, it is good that you broke it off with the man. It is good that you get along with your ex-husband, and that he helped you with painting.

Well, we are slowly getting our living room back. It was one of my goals for this year. Yesterday, I took fabric and fabric scraps to our local American Red Cross. We have a friend, who along with a couple other women make things for the American Red Cross (mostly for vets and the elderly).

Happy Birthday to you, Linda!!!!!!!!

I'm glad you dismissed that guy...there are respectful men left on this planet...just takes a bit to find them. Glad you had a nice outing with the X and Danny...There's alot to be said for having a good friend...everything else is an extra....

Have a great weekend...

We are in full packing mode this weekend...everything is on go as long as it doesn't snow on the mountain mid week!
