My date went very good. We had a nice dinner at a special restaurant. In this area pizza is homemade in many restaurants so this is one of the best. Dark in there too... romantic.
Then we saw Frost/Nixon what an awsome movie..very very good.
I got home early...we started out early.
I hope to see him again...he's kinda quiet but I am very comfortable around him...feel like I've known him a long time.
It's only been 2 days so he hasn't called again "yet" I hope he does.

Linda, it sounds like you had a very good date, here is hoping for more!!!!

Autumn, you have quite the inventors there and your life will never be dull with them because you never know what is coming next.....

Steph, loved some of the jewelry you loved, and what a bummer about being seperated more from you honey bunny!!!!

Yes, been working on sewing room but not in any capacity that I wanted to. Flourscent bubl came out of the light fixture, of coarse it was one of the true lights, got knocked out by hubby accidnetally and there are teeny tiny shards of glass everywhere, and I mean literaly everywhere. Dh goes, why don't you vacumn it up, can I smack him. Then I came in here and showed him excactly why that would be diastrous and how small those tiny particles are. What a mess. Yep, been working for too long, eyeballs are almost crossed doing it.
Lost the runt kitty last night, that was a major bummer but she wasn't well.
Just been reading and catching up with you girlies....now for hunting more glass, yep that is another small piece

Carol Sue, do you have tape to pick up the too small to see bits of glass? Also, when it's dark, use a flashlight to see the bits and pieces that will catch the light beam. You'll be finding them for awhile and that's not good with dogs, cats and grandchildren. what room did it happen in? probably not one you can close off for now.
How many kittens did she have? Runts either don't live or are the best of the litter. My lilac point siamese had 5 perfect siamese and one gray runt..and you do know that Tyler chose the gray one for us to keep. That was my "mouse" who lived with Lori until the end of her days.

Sheryl, drink lots of hot tea and enjoy your quiet time. I hope you are feeling better soon.

Ruth, I loath a dentist of any kind...if they don't administer gas then I don't stay...actually, that's the only time I ever get a mental holiday now that I think about it..gee, on second thought, maybe I need to see the dentist..LOL But seriously, you either have to sneeze, cough and then what's with them asking questions while they have your jaws unhinged with the drill going??? I think it's their private way of torture and amusement.

Ok, I'm off to get some images scheduled to upload and see about updating my other blog too.....and continue working on the mini's.

Hey Carrie,Jess and Monica-Thank you so much for stopping by Marilyns blog-it may get her jump started again.
If she ever starts writing you will love it-she is a real hoot ALL the time.
Even being ill-we joke and laugh to deal with it.

I emailed her to get her going again.
Thank you sooo much again girls!!!

Autumn, Hope you are feeling better! Your son did a great job on the cake! I would love to hear more about Marilyns girls because I can so relate! I do hope she starts writing again!

Sherly-lyn, I hope you get well soon! No fun at all when you have to go to work feeling crummy!

Linda, Sounds like you had a good time!

Carol Sue, What a bummer about the light bulb! Hope you are able to get it all cleaned up! The flashlight does work well as Ronna said! I once broke a glass salad bowl and I found glass forever! I have to say that once I swept up what I could, I did vacuum the rest up, but I still would find pieces under the cupboards!

When I saw the picture of the trebuchet it made me think of the one time we planted zucchini in our garden. My husband and I had planted a really big garden and thought, oh heck, oet's put in a couple zucchini seeds. Pretty soon we were able to pick little ones to use in stir fry, etc. The next week the garden was filled with huge log sized zucchinis. We considered building a catapult so we could try and shoot them into people's cars as they drove by, that was years ago when we all drove around with the car windows down, no air conditioning....

What a smart one! And he cooks too.

I went upstairs earlier and made six polka dot minis. that was my therapy, now I have to finish the final three, of course I won't make it to the post office until the end of the week, so I guess I can slack off a little'

Ruth, you have my sympathy, nothing worse than the dentist. I still cry when I get there. My older brothers used to faint at the dentist's. I always wished I could. My daughter had to have four permanent teeth pulled when she was quite young, not enough room for all those teeth. She had braces too, no fun.

Oh Carol Sue, broken glass is just the pits, especially tiny tiny shards, I hope this doesn't drive you insane, it would me. Sorry you lost a wee baby cat, but there is usually Mother Nature at work there. I'm so glad you are my apron swap partner!

I guess the pain pills are finally kicking in, at midnight, how convenient!!!! Oh well. We are supposed to be getting more snow tomorrow, so I may as well stay up late, sew and read, because I'm not going anywhere tomorrow....

Sheryl-lyn, I'm hoping you will be feeling better very soon.

Time for me to tip over, nighty night.

No, there isn't a thread for it yet, won't be until we done with this winter swap. Of which I am getting no where with.
After I type this will check again with the flashlight. Thanks Ronna and girls for the suggestions and encouragement. I can block the dogs off but can't Mr. Buster kittie but think I am close to done, a lot of it was all over the computer, sewing machine, fabric, minis, paperwork, that horrible mess I was telling you girls about. I have checked the paws of the animals.

Karin, yes, happy to be your partner.

Other kitties are doing fine, they are all white at present and we shall see if they get little stirpes like mama has or look more siameses like dad. I have never had an animal have babies, not even when I was little. So it was a new experience for this girl. Mama is a very good mama for being so young.

Ok, going to go use the flashlight an dpray I don't find much more. I really need to do more in the sewing rooma nd get to sew. Funny how life throws you a few loops.

Karin, I did laugh really hard when I thought of you and zuchinnis flying...

Oh yes, the tape....can you tell how well the brain is working tonight, actually it has been like that all day....tra la tra la, or is this lala land....lol

Hi Linda and good morning, no, I have not been asleep yet.
I am joining Karins club.....the fibro is being ***** club.
So you hang out here, read some, watch the wee kitties for a while and then dh is up because he is an early morning riser.
So I see him from the opposite way of morning....I didn't say I was normal in any way shape or form....I am rummy dummy and realizing that I am proably not making any sense at all.
off to see if I can attempt at least some sleep before I become a major cranky bucket.....grin.....

Linda~I am so glad to hear you had a good time on your date. I was thinking about it yesterday and waiting to hear from you.

Jess~Any news on the water troubles at the condo? I hope it's all resolved.

Ladies~I won't even tell you the story of having four teeth removed when I had these braces put on. I drove myself to the dentist~not a good idea. No gas and I did faint. One tooth had curved roots and tore my gums coming out. I can't even explain what that was like.

Ds needs me to check his history. Check in later.

Oh yeah- he will be flinging squashes if at all possible!!!!
He is a hoot!!!
I'd like to follow him around all day, like on Family Circle- but the dotted lines would look solid after criss crossing so much. He is NEVER still.
He's learning Spanish with Rosetta Stone and likely will broaden his horizons and start talking to total strangers in his new tongue just to freak them out!

I was researching some admission policies at the local tech. college and the head honco made me so mad! He kept repeating the same wrong info over and over as if I was deaf.
He doesn't know the rules about homeschool so he just assumes things about admissions! GRRRRR.
I finally just gace up- I'll call the dean- he was a great friend and encourager of my older son that graduated with honors there.
He went out on a limb to admit Justin when he was 16 1/2 and said it was a good choice and made him proud.
He was a reasonable man-unlike the guy I spoke to yesterday.

WHERE is BONNE??????????
What- youre sewing or something?

Blessings,
Autumn

Good morning...yes where is Bonne? I was thinking that last night.

It is snowing again here, so far 4 inches, Traffic is crawling. My hubs left at 7:30 and took kids to school, took him until 9:10 to do the rounds and get to work, 55 mins longer than usual. Ugh!

I went to bed early 2 nights in a row...so weird.

CS..yay...kitties. We have had our share, now we only have one, he just turned 10. Broken glass, bummer.

Autumn, i hope you get your admissions fiasco worked out, people are so difficult when you want them to think outside the box!

Sheryl...good to see you. That guy laughed at me when I offered $100, he told me they were so rare I would likely never find another...blah blah blah...I see them frequently. If it was mint I would understand, but it was far from it. Some people really think they have jewels.

I did find a group of 7 nestboxes for the coop we are bldg in spring, $20, so thursday I will go pick them up.

Ruth..condo....still being dried out, haven't gotten the bill yet. John is dealing with the HOA and ins companies...what a pain.

Also Ruth, we have still not gotten ur package, it must be somewhere having a party with the pkg I sent to Autumn in December.

What are u up to monica?

Umm...yes my kids would love flying zukes!

Polka dot minis...ugh....i cannot even go there yet!

Good morning, ladies. I have been thinking over my car situation and feel the insurance company is taking advantage of me. They said at the garage, well we've already done the alignment, now even I, no mechanical skills whatsoever except for cleaning and oiling my Featherweight, know that because the transmission seal popped that couldn't cause me to need an alignment. Didn't sleep much last night, though I did make 20 polka dot mini aprons, fueled by my rage at the insurance company trying to pull a fast one on an old lady. Still haven't put the waistbands on my final three winter minis. I will probably lose these by the time the next apron thread is posted, but I did enjoy playing with the fabric....

Ahh, just had my first chat with the insurance guy, time for another cup of caffeine, I have to be fueled up for the jousting match which is sure to ensue....

Jess~I am so upset you haven't gotten your package yet. I can't believe it. It makes me so mad to think those poor little owl hats are out there with no heads to keep warm. I think I officially hate the po right now. I am so mad I can't even type right. About 1000 typos in these three lines. AAAARRRRGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe they will come home today. I hope!!!!!

Yes, where is our Bonne?! Doesn't she know we need her here to keep us in line and busy. What are we going to do?

Autumn~I am so nervous about college admissions for my daughter. I am not even sure what things to save from her work. I do keep track of her grades but am always afraid colleges won't accept our paperwork. I hope everything gets straightened out and your son gets started there soon. It seems like he's more than ready.

Karin~Sorry about the horrible trouble with your car.
