Carrie I Love the Little Dress Idea!!

How Dang cute!!!
You can do SO many things with this can't you???
Prissy it up.. or Farm Girl it.. or even Primitive!
BUT you can even go wth diffenet Seasons..!

My stupid stove & ovens don't really have handles!
Isn't that nuts? I can't hang things from my oven doors .. I don't think.. not unless I try to loop some sort of wire through there first.... Hmmm.. some figuring will HAVE to be done with this one I think!!!

Love this idea though Girl!

Wow you miss a day or two and what's going on?
I had to go back and find out what happened.

Jess,
That sewing room is fantastic! I love the color of the walls. And you're so organized. I get my stuff organized and as soon as I decide to do a project it's a mess again. ACK!

I have a question about the oven door towel. Where is the tutorial? I love it! looks like a potholder with pleated towel sewn on?
Also I looked and looked to find the pic of Jess's new sewing room...found it! It's great and thanks for posting it for us. I am a single mom so it seems like my whole downstairs is my sewing room...LOL Living and Kitchen...LOL and closet..
I also like the apron pics recently posted. I am still wearing my new Halloween apron and am sewing myself a special Thanksgiving one! Haven't used the Farmgirl pattern yet (that Bev sent me) and don't have the bees fabric yet...wow I'll get 2 new aprons then...LOL !

I just got a dress form and I can't believe the difference it makes. Picked mine up at the thrift store for about 10 or 15 bucks. Same model that was at Hancock for a great deal more. Dumb luck-I guess :)

Cute cute apron Jess!!!
I didn't sell 1 single apron at my craft fair today, and I brought
all different kinds~half, reversible full, holiday etc. Such a bummer~
Makes me not want to sew more aprons, since I have over a dozen to get gone, and about 8
hanging up that I wear. LOL!
People were looking at knit scarves, but I only sold 2, and not a single hat. (over a dozen of those too) I guess we needed a cold snap to interest people more in cold weather gear rather than a 70 degree day!!
PPFFSSTTTTTTTT!!!!!
Better luck next year.

Bonnie, I am sorry that you didn't sell your aprons. I find that this time of year, people are usually looking for aprons, because they make nice gifts, and people are thinking of holiday baking. I will know in a couple of weeks. Do you have any more shows? Was this a large or small show?

i love that Dress/ Apron Jess!
So Feminine!
i think with some Tweeking.. THAT would make the CUTEST Sundress!

Carrie i hadn't thought of the magnets!
I'll have to look.. Mine really is odd though.. my Stove is built in my cabinets.. i'ts a drop in.. & my ovens are built into the wall.. one over the other.. & the fronts are glass! I'll have to go home tonite & look to see if theres any where a magnet will stay..
Crazy huh?

yes.. of course.. nothing "normal" for me!!!

I'll let ya all know though!!

I hate to say this, but it was at the State Dept of Transportation Headqtrs.
A captive audience , as all they had to do was leave their desks and
go to the auditorium!

Oh, and did I mention how I hate forum "lurkers" that babble info on ~ I'll probably
get an reprimand for talking about it. LOL
