O.k Jessie I am impressed. Now, I am a patient person, but not that patient. Sheryl-lyn, funny. This group is so much fun. Here are some of the recent reversible aprons that I made: The first is a patriotic snowman apron. The second is a toile Santa print with poinsettia fabric on the reverse side. The third is a toile dog fabric,

Jessica, I love the "Fish" costume that you made....by chance was that a "cat house" pattern? I just bought a Simplicity pattern with a "fish" kitty house was well as a dome tent type cat house. >^..^< Happiness is being a katmom.

Sharon, Just doing some catching up here. My husband thinks I have a lot. It is a pittance comparatively. Do you buy all your fabric in bolts?

Jess, Those costumes are just fantastic. Maybe you should start a business. Or do you already have one? Love the aprons girls. Wow you miss a few days and this thread goes zooming.

Thanx Jess, I pulled up my Simplicity pattern, & I kid you not the fish are identical, bet it is the same, Simplicity probablly just gets a much mileage as they can from their pattern designs...lol!

well...look at that..I never even thought of it as a tent for a kitty...it is so simple...I just loved making it. Hmmm....just make sure you get a thick enough foam rubber sheet. if it too think it doesnot hold its shape. |

Grace makes some really cool stuff you should see this little fob she made out of a spoon handle and wire and some beads. She sent it to my daughter Carmen, and it is so cute! |

hi, yes the rug I'll be making is the one on the front cover of the book I showed the link for. ....all the rugs call for wool felt, but I'll be making mine from the regular 72 inch wide felt from Joann's. The rugs themselves are 16 inch diameter, so I found that my pizza pan is the perfect diameter. The stitch used for all the rugs is a simple blanket stitch embroidery, and sometimes a french knot and lazy daisy stitch for a few details.

Wow! See what you miss when you don't come around for a day or two.
Smoothiejuice, I'm in awe of the costumes. Perfect.
Countrynmore, I caught myself drooling over your fabric stash and your aprons are gorgeous.

Jo. I am glad that you like the aprons. I used to have a sewing room, but my son is going to take over the room, meanwhile dh says, "When are you going to clear out the room." I currently have containers with fabric in there now.
