I had a customer who bought a snowman apron one year, and she wore the apron year round. Her friends thought that she was nuts. I personally like snowmen.

Bonne,
That's a great little outfit on your blog.
Wonder if that pattern is still available somewhere?

Hey, thanks Kathie. I also like the colors of fall. When we went on a road trip to MA, we saw a lot of beautiful fall colors, although in my dh's terms, it was late in the season. We don't have that in California.

Kathy, that is what I liked. The beautiful colors of the leaves. We went in our motor home, but it was a challenge. I think that long road trip, is what turned my boys away from going in the motor home again. The two boys are as different as night and day, and being confined to one small space for 3 weeks (was to be 4 weeks) was rough. We used to go on trips in the motor home, but I think that the boys are also so used to having a computer around them all the time.

Lets see on the first day, we had the catalytic converter go out on us, but we managed to find a place in the middle of no where that was open and that had the part. Two days later, we woke up to a flat tire. The stem valve on the tire failed, but we managed to put more air in and go to a Costco to have it fixed. On our way home we stopped to eat along a major highway in Georgia( I think off of I70), but didn't know that the police have been having problems with break-ins of motor homes, etc. My dh installed a lock to the back part of the motor home, and it was the boys responsibility to make sure it was locked. After only a few minutes at the Cracker Barrel restaurant, dh went to check on the motor home, because our son didn't lock up the back. The side window was smashed, and the people stole my person (fortunately no money), and since it was soon after the incident took place, we were able to contact the credit card companies. I think that it was the people next to us. While I was in the motor home with my two boys who were arguing, the people had their engine idling.

I also was pulled over by a trooper. My dh and I were taking turns at the wheel, and our motor home would sway every time a big rig would pass us up. The state trooper pulled me over, because he thought that I had been drinking. I actually argued with him, but would never do that again. Anyways, he could tell that I hadn't been drinking (never drink alcohol), and thought that I was too tired to drive. After explaining what happened and seeing our now cardboard window, he let me off with a warning.

Now, aren't you sorry that you asked.

Hey gals....well, speaking of Fall...it is a beautiful Autumn day here in PA....leaves have finally turned and it is beautiful. Busy day taking care of the animals...got in a ride on moonbeam. We got 3 inches of rain over the past couple of days...pond is full....lots of mud around, but it is nice today.

Sharon...love the reversible....great prints...love that star print...keep looking at it at JoAnns.

Yea, the Battenburg lace sold today...gotta make another or a few from all the leftover fabric and lace....perhaps I will even keep one this time! (Novel idea)

Hope all is well with you all this weekend!

The star print is so gorgeous, and can be used for so many things. Glad that you sold the battenburg apron. I have a feeling if the apron doesn't sell on the website, then a customer a.k.a. vendor will buy it. That is the one thing that I like about the show is that everyone supports everyone else. I usually purchase Christmas gifts at the show when I have a chance to get away, which isn't very often. Nina across from me makes gorgeous crochet rugs. You should see the size of her crochet hook! HUGE! If I bought one, then I would get one of those looks from my dh.

Naomi, it is so easy to get behind. I am glad that you like the apron. I look forward to seeing your finished apron. I am off to JoAnns again. My youngest son informed me that he needs a costume to wear to work on Halloween. He works at the library, and decided to be Dracula, so I need to make him a cape.
