Stephanie, na na, I am not going to tell. To tell you the truth, I honestly do not know how many bolts there are. I could open up a small fabric store though.

Are you jump starting my stash clearing? I need a hands on tutorial on getting started here, much more than fabric to go live elsewhere. I do hope Debra/joyfulmomma/my vintage home will be able to come spend an afternoon here with me. Way too much hoarding here, actually way too much thrift store wonderful finds that come home with me. For years. I did yard sale/donate a lot when I moved back to NV from SoCal in '95, but have accumulated much more since then. It's beyond funny anymore. Sharon, do you do okay with your eBay selling of fabric? I have so much that I flat out don't need. Anything "wonderful", like my collection of vintage aprons, will be offered to those I know first. Would rather they go to good homes and just come out even on the $$$ than make a killing on most everything. |

I totally agree Jess..Ronna is a real gem! She recently sent me a cute package of vintage dutch items..thanks again Ronna..everything is so darling. I have plans to set up a display near the front door entry way of a new home..with wooden dutch shoes in all different sizes..lined up along the wall..like folks have left them lined there..as their "garden shoes"..ha. Anyhow..yes..I agree Ronna finds the coolest things.

Ronnie, it is a hit and miss with eBay. Sometimes I do well with selling fabric, while other times I don't. I generally do well with the older fabrics. People like vintage fabrics, which I have none. The oldest fabric that I have is about 10 years old. That is too long to have fabric. I have been going through the fabric that I have had for a long time, that I would not use for aprons. Vintage apron patterns are the hot ticket on eBay. Some of the vintage aprons are as well, but there are a lot of people selling aprons.

alright...fabric hoarders...I'm gonna tell you gals before I post under the Barter section....I cleared out three garbage bags full of fabric....$35 for all + whatever shipping comes too... I'll get some pictures soon of some of the bigger pieces, but there is sooooo much that I couldnt possibly get pictures of everything..well..I could if I really tried..but...everyone likes surprises..plus I'm rather lazy...rofl...:D let me know if ya'll want any of it...I'm willing to split it up too...
there is all kinds of fabric, poly, cotton, velvet, whats that thick tapestry type fabric..cant think of the name, florals, and all kinds of pretty prints...like I said, I'll get pictures soon of the bigger pieces...and if anyone shows interest...I'll get the pictures taken even sooner....haha

Lookie what I got from Bonne!!!!!! Look how well the red one matches this top. It's a super fairy shawl! Thank you sooooo much. I love it..with the fringe it is almost to the floor It's midnight and I'm just checking the mail this week...I've been in digital hell all week taking pictures of this fabric..LOL I felt like running around the pond with the fringe waving behind me but figured one of the neighbors would see me and call the cops saying a crazy woman is on the loose.

But we are not done...there's another one..woohoo!!!!

Yeah Ronna, I'm jump starting you. I want someone else to be editing pictures in a major way other than me.
Sharon, I've been joking that between what Ronna has, I have and you have that we could have our own Etsy site but we would have a slogan something like
The Best deals come after midnight from the Moon Children!! LOL Or an extra discount on the Full Moon..man that sounds good..ok, it's now after 1am so I'm off to do my daily blog at queenofdreamsz. I bet there's a group somewhere that has all the folks that are awake right now, you think??

We could do that. I am going through the fabric in our old den. My youngest son is determined to get that room. Dh promised the room to my son, and I got ousted. I would prefer just to have fabric on bolts. I am going to begin making it possible to sell fabric on my website. I just have to get my son to set it up. Yep, you are probably right about a forum where people are still up. Now, you have to think about different countries.

Steph, I kept a lot! I was shocked that I was still able to fill both cabinets(ok..so it was like two shelves, not actually two cabinets full...but still...), and then fabric that is being saved for the new place, plus all my felt takes up the two shelves in my bookcase...dunno how I had another 3 bags crammed away...course I didnt have to put anthing back in my closet...so..hmm.. as for what I like..oh my goodness...I like tons..just cant always afford it..rofl...Love Moda, Amy Butler, Alexander Henry, really most of those "name brand" fabrics(isnt that just sooo typical?)..dislike the price tags..if only money grew on trees...I'd have a larger hoard then all you ladies combined...:D..ok...thats pushing it....how about more then Jess' 3,000yds...(isnt that the amount you said you had?) i really love those reprints of the vintage feedsacks..those are so cute! Moda is one of my favorite brands though by far...the designers all have different styles, and its just so fun to walk through out local quilt shop and just oogle the fabrics...and gasp as you hand over $20 for two tiny packs of charm squares that just sit on your desk because they are so pretty/cute you are afraid to use them...no I'm not speaking from experience, how dare you suggest that!...ok ok...yeah...they are still sitting there waiting to be used...they are just so pretty! It took me a week to even unpackage them and lay them out to look at them all...seriously...they were cut so nicely, the little pinked edges were all so even and pretty...haha...ok.....I know I'm rambling...I'll shut up... but in answer to your question Steph....I love it all...ok...not all, if I did, I wouldnt have gotten hid of 3 bag fulls of fabric, plus that 20lb box a few weeks back...*sigh*...need to get those bags out of here...its blocking my doorway...

Naomi, needless to say I love them all also..the new designers on the block..so to speak have some dynamite designs..so many have a retro twist to them and I love that..have you looked at the Chocolate Lollipop collection..gosh who is that designer? You probably know...I'll look it up. Now who is making the feedsack reproductions? Which website?

Late nighter here, why, no clue but I needed to catch up with my girls here. Now you want to majorly laugh at me, it was my menses that started early yesterday that caused that major down swing fast. Good grief, can't they just plain stop and end this.....lol I am 51 headed for 52 anytime now right.....lol
Kathie, I love that the table was her space ship and the dials were on the bottom of the table. That made me laugh so hard cause our kids still surprize us don't they!!!!!
Ronna is the sweetest most giving person. Her finds are amazing, and she is very savy about them as well. She is generous of heart in so many ways. She has caused "Christmas" to come to my house a few times. It makes me smile and cry at the same time. Hope that makes sense. But she is one dear lady. Hey, if your friends can't brag on you, who can.
Ok, my birthday is the first of November. Will have to have ya look that one up Kathie...... Now I have got to get to bed and try for sleep again.......so I can catch up with your girls later in the morning......nighty night

Stephanie, I do already have a website. There is a part of the website, which I already have some of the fabric samples shown, but it is for custom aprons. I want to use the same system so that they can order fabric from it as well. I have had people call wanting to purchase fabric.
