That's how Jess stays so slim 'n trim after half a dozen pregnancies.
No baby fat there~LOL
I finished up a full size bed quilt today~still hammering on using up my scraps
so I can justify new fabric purchases. ;)

You can send some to me~I'm tired of looking at the same ole patterns. I'll never buy fabric by the bolt again~get too sick of it before it's even partway used up!

A bolt can have either 12 yds. or 15 yds. Most of the time there are 15 yds. of fabric on the bolt.

Jessica, that is the plus of being a ripe young age of 31. I used to do a lot more than I do now. I remember my dh and I would be up until midnight doing things. Now, dh falls asleep around 9 pm. I can stay up late a, but not generally as late as I used to either. I will either just take it easy or if I have aprons to get done, then I will do sewing.

Well....gals, I lost my living room. You may wonder how anyone can lose their living room. Dh started rearranging furniture in the living room, and we had a wide open space once again, but that space is now gone, because he is still rearranging furniture.

It actually looks like a tornado came through the living room, although it left the furniture in tact. I am cringing, because it is almost 7 pm and the way that things go around here, it will remain like this for days, sometimes weeks. I would do something but it is dh's project. I usually like to stay out of the way.

Hello Lovelies..!!

No Bev!! I don't live Anywhere Near St. Augustine! but have ALWAYS wanted to go.. (I think thats where Jess said you were going to be..??) I think it's a few hours away.. 3 or 4.. something like that.. I am actually much close to where Sherl-lyn's parents are.. as far as driving.. intersate wise... like maybe two hours or less..!!! I didn't realize you were here until this weekend when I talked to Jess.. I've bee too busy with Jeffrey lately.. so many different Dr.'s appointments you know..
Tonight is nice & quiet here.. NO one but Butch & I! Jeff went home with my Sister for the night!..(She & Her Kids had come over for our normal Sunday Dinner..) & all of my kids have all left already! So the house is empty.. & I don't have to try to think up things to talk about or come up with for anyone to do right now!!!!!

I just wanted you all to know that I posted new baby pics on both blogs. Spent the day barn-cleaning (again). It rained cats and dogs here...tomorrow I am dedicating to the veggie garden (and possibly Wednesday too, if the weather holds out) I had to take a few breaks for a little goat therapy....OMG, if it is possible, I think that the Dwarf Nigerians are even cuter than the fainters! It is Kid Heaven here right now! Will post more pics (maybe a video) tomorrow.

Hugs to you all!

Hi there. Linda! What a rainy day we had, huh? What are you busy with? Have you heard anything about our dolly? She was to go to Sheryl-lyn next...but has yet to arrive.

Hey Bev,
I got back from my Walla Walla trip late last night,,,while out & about I found something that screamed at me & said "buy me for Bev or else!" so I did,,,I am going to the Post Office on Thursday to get it sent off to you....
Give the "kids" a snuggle kiss from me and in the mean time I have 3 days to get things in order around the house before I head off to my next girls get-away...."Girls just wanna have fun!" "Have credit card, will travel"...lol!

Oooooooooh Gracie, I just love surprises!!!! Hope you had a great trip to Walla Walla!

We are getting a new addition to Bee Haven Acres....my sil, Becky, is adding another horse, a yearling that was raised in Rutgers University's equine program. She is half thoroughbred and half Percheron...a real beauty and our first mare...should be interesting to see how the rest of the boys react to this new addition. Becky says she is a real spit-fire!

Well, I've got to get to work....tons of gardening to do (first, though, I have to clean this house!)

Have a great day, all!

I am so frustrated, my subscription to MJF was too late to receive the April issue...I only subscribed 2 weeks ago. And now I cannot find a single place in this town who carries it. I was even told by a couple that they dont think she has a mag anymore. so I had to inform them that they were wrong, and the search continues. Argh! I realy thought that would be a great recharge for this cold, freezing, rainy, gloomy day!

It's cold here today too! I thought spring was here!!
I was getting cold during the night and it was just above freezing outside. Danny boy can't wear shorts today. LOL
I am surprised it was so cold...good thing I didn't put my plants outside...they are many years old and huge...
