One never have too much halloween fabric :) Bev--you are right about it being therapy. I complain about the hard work at times --but i do enjoy it. I love all the animals . ONe of the barn cats broguht me a mole last night at work--she was So proud of herself. I gave her a can tuna :) It is quiet when i vacation sit for them too. I love being able to get in the pool and the stars be out. I use to be a bit scared --but the dogs stay beside me and they wouldnt let anyone hurt me . I did get 2 xmas potholders crocheted last night .The kitties at work just LOVE it when i bring yarn !

I don't know if you can hear me screaming or not, but my dh is not being a dear husband today. He is driving me and our sons up the wall, so I feel like screaming.
There is so many things, but he is being bossy, a dictator, and no one can do anything right today. I am not going to rant and rave as it isn't appropriate.

Ok, now someone needs to send me those sewing/apron fairies! I am at a standstill and miss that great sound and feel of the sewing machine. They can even be angry fairies as long as they get me back to work.

"I don't need no stinkin' fairies!!" Just say that, and it will miff them enuff
to want to come over!
I went to Joann's again~a bigger store this time and was it ever busy! Had to take a # and wait for 10 people ahead of me in line to get fabric cut. Got some purdy embroidered denims that Bev would fight me for (had appliqued and embroidered bees), and a couple lemon prints for aprons, and a funny cat-with-attitude print. I'm thinking wrap skirts for the denims.

I think there are a bunch of Fairies layed out all across the country right trying to recuperate from everyone's previous "Apron Mania" sewing adventure When I think of Jess's 19 aprons that she cut out in one evening my head spins!

Yep, alot them are definitely still on R & R!

ROFL......even fairies need a break.....funny girls
Jess, did you find the table, was lurking under all those projects,
yep, that would be me, the slacker, talkin. Haven't sewed in a couple of days, and don't care. Now how sacriligiouos is that girls....took meds that have me in lala, hopefully won't have to take them tomorrow.
My mom sent over an older green/grayish Pfaff for me. Hard working grade, it was from the church I use to go to as a tiny babe, my mom sewed blankets and stuff for missionairies on it. Along with ladies that were a group of her friedns 50 years ago. Now how cool is that to have a machine with family history to it. My mom has called every day twice a day to see if I sewed on it yet. I sewed on straight line, she is a beauty to me. I like the sound of the older machines purring along and hopefully I can machine quilt with this one. Have to experiment, but not with a fuzzy brain. Could you just see the mess right now!!!!!! Thread everywhere, material a flying and me underneath it all. LOL
I love the bag and the Americana apron. Happy sewing ladies, thinking of ya....

Dh was just stressed out. We had a party to go to at the Queen Mary, but he always is trying to do things that don't need to be done. I never have been there for. All I can say is WOW! We stayed in one of the state rooms. The walls are thin as we could hear the conversations from the people next door.

Sheryl- lyn,
I know this is off topic but I thought of you last night while we were at the rodeo. One of the guys riding in competition was from Calverton,NY.

I have not sat down at my sewing machine for a week. Haven't been able to get the time. I need the therapy. I am going to make some time this week. Maybe I need a little pep talk to get me going again?

You know what was most amazing Stephanie..i cut out 19 aprons that one night and I actually sewed up all of them and then a few more and some skirts. I was so amazed...usually something does not get finished. I am about to do thatr again...I have 11 packages in the final stages of being packaged up to send out this week. Many are LOOOOOOOOOOOOONNG overdue, and I am going to cut out a dress, 3 skirts, 6 aprons, 10 potholder/trivet type things in the fall theme, and maybe if I am lucky, 16 quilt squares, anyway..all must be cut tonight or I will fall terribly off schedule again and be breakin my neck to catch up, my mantra right now..."do not sign up for any more swap...do not sign up for anymore swa[ps...do not sign up for anymore swaps"

take it easy girls..jess

Bev,
No, I have not even cut it out yet. I want to make it for Christmas and they come over everyday so I don't get a chance. Might have to sneak off to the bedroom and get it cut out today. btw, my daughter is also on this forum. Not sure if she reads this thread but the apron is a secret.
