WELCOME JANET! and where in KENTUCKY is KRYPTON? i'm a kentucky-transplant (from Washington, D.C.) where my career was with 'uncle sam' too! i adore these rolling green hills. (i live in CENTRAL Kentucky (Green County). i'll be teaching weekend classes at JABEZ this weekend .. are you anywhere near JABEZ? Friday we will be hand-sewing 'make-do's' .. and Saturday will be rag doll-making. Would LOVE to meet you! Any chance you can wander (up/down/over) there?
I LOVE story-telling and could sit for hours listenin' (and tellin') stories! Oh do let me know when you are scheduled to 'tell stories' .. i would love to attend! WELCOME! WELCOME!

Hello Janet...is that a Dulcimer in your hands? I am guessing you play?
How fun! I am indeed jealous of that. My Chapter has had problems meeting lately...everyone went to work, except me. Well I work, but not a 9 to 5. Anyway, hope to get to know you and PLEASE come up and visit us in the Great Northwest!
Love the details of your upbringing and having no running water! How fun to be in your 'olde' family home.
