nance expressed an interest in my pincushion from the contest, soooooo we worked out a trade.
she sent me a beautiful handknittted scarf!
the colors are really beautiful and it is so soft. thanks so much nance for all your encouragement, friendship and my beautiful new scarf! you're the best!

That is some pretty scarf! Perfect for fall. Guess yo will be home soon, I miss you, not sure why it makes a difference, I don't see you when you are in the states either.

| Bonjour, mes amies! Frannie, you are too sweet to brag on my scarf; that is praise indeed, coming from such a talented gal. I love that yarn, too, and may have to make myself a scarf in that one for autumn. I have lots of interests (maybe that makes me a jack, or jane, of all trades, master of none, ha!), and am looking for ways to create some income by doing things I enjoy, so I am having an open house when I am back in Norfolk. Scarves, handmade greeting cards, bookmarks, and gift tags, baskets and wreaths made of air drying clay, dried flower wreaths/baskets/swags.... If anybody wants to come, let me know. Heck, Nancy Jo, it is only about 12 hours in the car, right????!! And I miss all you guys all the time, now that I have gotten to know you! Hugs and thanks for being so inspiring, gal pals. Nance |
