...Sewing" by Amy Karol is a new book with fun, easy patterns & great tips, especially for beginning stitchers. I bought a copy for a young friend of mine & she just loves it! The style is kinda retro, vintage, but with contemporary projects. You might want to check it out!
Rhonda, I wrote down the title & author, & will check it out next time I am @ Borders Book store. Thanx for the heads up on this one. Sounds like it will be a great little book for beginners of all ages.
I have the book. I want to make one of her bags, the one with the insert of a different fabric. i love picking up these fun beginner sewing books for quick projects and to motivate my daughter.
