ok, so as I was unpacking a gazillion boxes of my crafting books I came across some more fun things for yoyo's.

A Christmas Stocking,,,the body of the stocking was a solid color and the collar (usually fur) was a decrorative holiday print.
The body was decorated w/a bunch of yoyo's (made from holiday printed fabric) and cute holiday buttons & charms.
Ok, ladies, now is the time to start yoyoing....

If circle yo yos weren't enough I found this website on how to make heart shape yo yos. They're adorable. http://pennysanford.typepad.com/penny_sanford_porcelains_/2007/02/pattern_for_hea.html JoAnn

I made the girls their stockings last year for them to keep forever and I trimmed them with yoyos. They look so freakin' cute! I think they are such a neat decorating tool!

I got a Keepsake Quilting magazine the other day and there's all kinds of stuff to make with yo-yos. One was the cutest Santa wall hanging. His beard was made from yo-yos.

I am now making my 3 sisters darling Yo Yo doilies for Christmas in their favorite colors, sweet pastel calico prints! Just love Yo Yo's! Thanks to Grace who told me about them in April!!!!!!!

I love yo-yos. I think making them into some of the traditional style quilts be beautiful. I'm working on an Irish Chain now. I am also working on a Christmas table runner. I love those little clowns you make with them and have got some ready for that. I am just a yo-yo fool!

I also found a cute Christmas tree made from yoyo's...
You need to cut/sew 2 of each size, then stack them,(you can paly w/the size of your yoyos) ex: 1st row has 2 very lrg yoyos, Row 2 has 2 lrg ones, Row 3 has 2 med ones & Row 4 has 2 sm ones. (use solid or holiday print fabric or any combination of fabrics)
Then run a long piece of thread (embroidery floss pref.) throw all the rows. Tie off loosely. Adorn with glitter & a tree topper.
Be sure to cut out a little piece (sq. or circle)of cardboard, decorate it & then glue your little tree to it.
You can use filiment or fishing line or gold thread to make a loop for hanging your yoyo tree ornament.
If I ever get my rear in gear I will take photos & post, assuming I can figure out how to post the pic's.

uuuuggggghhhh!!!!!!! wish I were going too!
Don't let them corrupt you!!! hhahahaha! Oh and you will find some of the coolest & really big pine cones there, they make great firewood starter.
Have fun fishin' and send pic's.
Our new barn/workshop is about 50% completed, so my DH will be able to finish working on the "Twinkie". He needs to put down the laminante floor, & replace the vent. Then I can come in and re-upholster the seat cushions & make the drapes. I am doing a Post Modern design on the inside. I bought some awesome vintage Bark Cloth in an Emes Atomic print, gold/cream & pink, I can hardly wait to make the trailer curtains from this fabric which in it's own past life was curtains. I have been collecting Post Modern tschockis for my little Twinkie. The last thing we will do is paint the outside...I would love to have a mural of "The Long Trailer" along w/the Heart & Lucy & Desi. To cute!

Janet- you have to calm down, how can you continue to make them and get your quilt done if you are all keyed up. Now take a deep breath and make another yo yo.
