I received a wonderful surprise all the way from France. A lovely picture of an old Monastery in lavender fields and a package of Cosmos all written in French. I wonder if they will have a French accent when they bloom. Nance said maybe not but they will have ATTITUDE. ha. The monastery is posted on my Holy Houses blog. MB

MaryBeth, I'm delighted with your holy houses blog! How did you come to do this? I can send you a photo of the little church I pastored in NY if you'd like. It was originally erected for the Native Iroquois by the traveling Methodist circuit preacher back in the day and is still a Methodist church. When I pastored it about 13 years ago, I had some members who were descendents of those originals.
