I received a wonderful surprise all the way from France. A lovely picture of an old Monastery in lavender fields and a package of Cosmos all written in French. I wonder if they will have a French accent when they bloom. Nance said maybe not but they will have ATTITUDE. ha.
The monastery is posted on my Holy Houses blog. MB

MaryBeth, I'm delighted with your holy houses blog! How did you come to do this? I can send you a photo of the little church I pastored in NY if you'd like. It was originally erected for the Native Iroquois by the traveling Methodist circuit preacher back in the day and is still a Methodist church. When I pastored it about 13 years ago, I had some members who were descendents of those originals.

Mary Beth...How lovely. The Cosmos will be beautiful. Love your holyhouses blog too. Here is one for you. One of the most famous in the US and I used to drive by it at least once per week when I was doing home care nursing.

There is an old mission about a mile from my house. Try Googling it: St. Joseph Mission Ahtanum WA. Let me know if you want a picture
