You silly goose, , I got a beautifully decorated box form the mailman today and low & behold it was the art work of your delightful & colorfull daughter. 
The really cool part besides the 4000 sheets of papertowels and hand made card, was that inside, were 2 beautiful Lenox Martini glasses....yippeeeee, now I can imbide with my favorite summer drink!, anything martini will do just fine!
Jess, you are too kind, and I so appreciate the glasses & they will be put to good use. The paper towels will be put to good use too, I have a lot of windows!
Ladies, also in the box were custom made quilt squares and backing fabric. Jess, I love the vintageness of the squares. I can hardly wait to go play in my not yet set up sewing room to assemble the squares.

| oh...i am so glad you got it..jeez it might take forever for you to find the box with your own martini glasses in it, and how frustrating...you always need drinks whilst unpacking!! I am so glad you enjoyed your package!!! love ya...jess |

went to the market yesterday, picked up some Cranberry martini mix for tonight.
We are having our daughter & son-in-law over for dinner. There are dog tired from their 2 day grueling drive w/4 critters. Besides, we are so happy they had a safe trip.
Now daughter & I can have our martini's & the guys can drink their beer outta bottle. As for their 2 dogs & 2 cats, yes, I bought them critter treats to celebrate too!

| congrats to you all and have many wonderful celebrations!!!! I am so glad you enjoyed all the papertowelling...i was scared those stems would be broken! Cranberry martinis sound so awesome...have one for me will ya! |

We had a very relaxing evening, even the critters were poooooped!
Today my DD & I ran some errands and then marketing. Got a lot of things planned for the next 2 weeks before her DH has to leave back for Calif. but he will be in late Sept.
The papertowels came in handy, I had a sick little kitty, and had to use a lot of the towels, but she is ok now. Silly little thing, she got into my other kitties food & over ate. I have special needs kitties, and 2 of them have special diets. I just was sidetract and didn't realize our little "cissygirl" got into "miss beasley's" food. But all are better now. Cissygirl is the little kitty posing with my two latest apron creations.

| oh i am sorry to hear you had sick kitties...my hank has been so good the last few years I have nearly forgotten about kitty issues! Glad to hear you and the fam are having good times!!! Oh I just love your aprons...you need to post them on the sew along...they are very very nice! and the colors on both are just fantastic...with a precision that only a quilter can bring to a project!!! Good job on those! Continue to have fun with your daughter and all the little furballs!...jess |
