I love love love this guys' songwriting. He's a bit of a stinker, I think--well, he's gotten sober, so maybe he's a lot nicer now (and healthier), but I can separate man from music. His songs just make my world go round. I have sincerly loved each and everyone of his cd's. Nice and easy, rockin and swaying, bluesy and gutsy, and some that'll rip your heart out and everything you could ever want from music. Good porch swing tunes, good car tunes, good doing dishes tunes. A multi-purpose music you could say

Buy his new cd--Easy Tiger. It's absolutely haunted me for days. It's become like an appendage. I go from car to office to car to lunch to car back to office to car to home and it never leaves my ears!!!!

Jonni, checked out his myspace page. I see the NY Post classifies his music as Rock/Alternative/Country. I like it, thanks for turning me on to him.

That is a very good song. I can see why you love it so. I might have to buy that even though I don't listen to country music very much.

No problemo. I grew up on country, but went away to boarding school and promptly discovered "alternate" music, which was anything from punk to classical. Really settled back into this alt-country thing over the last few years with Uncle Tupelo and Wilco, and Ryan Adams.

I hope you girls like his stuff if you get into it. Even my mom said, "nice. It all sounds good", when she would normally turn off the car stereo when she gets in...
