I have been searching for the thread someone started about the seed signs on the roads.....
Today I stopped by a neighbors farm today, they are an organic farmer so I suspect I struck a sore spot when I asked. 
I asked her what the signs meant along Grafton Shop Roads Crops....she said they are political. That the Chemical growers use them to advertise what seeds / crops are doing very well. Big Bad Corn, Look at me I am 8 Ft. Tall etc etc etc....
She did give me a big handful of cherry tomatoes to bring home! I will toss them in a salad later!
Maybe someone at MaryJanes can clarify the seed signs for us? Pam did give me a contact at the local 4H Extension office who can give me more detail about the seed signs. I am more interested in sharing MaryJanesFarm with her. So I will be talking with her on Monday!
