Oh, I was so close. I drove up and down Francis looking for it. This time I wrote down the address and won't miss it. :) I'd love to join you. We're working on getting water and power on and running at the farm, so not sure yet if I can committ to a time. Please e-mail me and I'll do my best. Brenda, I just Know we'll have a Spokane run that weekend, so I will come by, just not sure when.

We make a difference.

Brenda, hope you're feeling better... No pneumonia! Your poor face is causing you enough pain! Praying you're soon much better.

Thanks Ann,
Today has been the best day yet . . . spent most of it working in the garage on my furniture for the sale. Took a couple breaks, but doing soooo much better overall! Just pray it lasts. Today was also an "ugly day" for me. Since I had had so much swelling after I first fell, my face and ear are now peeling like a bad sunburn. I guess it is normal because the swelling actually kills the skin tissue (cuts off the oxygen I was told)and so now it is "renewing itself." Anyway, I think I will finish the whole thing off tonight with some kind of a scrub or peel. I just thought it was a funny side effect! My leg peeled a few days ago where I had a huge bruise and swelling from the fall. So weird the way our bodies work!

I am so excited to see those of you local gals! Wish I could go with you to tea, but I suppose that wouldn't work well for my sale! LOL!

Hope you can join us Alee.
Brenda, we look forward to meeting up with you and seeing all your hand crafted goodies.
If need be, we can pick up tea or java for you. I'd pick up a Martini for you,,,,but knowing my lack of self restraint,,,,it would not make it to your warehouse!! LOL!

I'm so glad to hear you're feeling better, Brenda. I was thinking about you all last week while I was painting the house. I hate getting up on ladders, but I had no choice if I wanted to get it done. DH works too hard and late to be asking him to get up on a ladder after work. He laughed about me getting up there "like the shakiest gun in the West". I told him it was more like the shakiest butt in the West. I took vacation time to get this done. Everytime I talked myself into getting up on the ladder, I'd stop at a certain rung and couldn't go any farther because you kept coming to mind.

I hope your surgeries are over. What a nightmare. Fast healing to you. Oh, try using Bag Balm to heal the peeling skin. It's greasy, so put it on thin, but you'll heal much faster. And it moisturizes better than anything else I've ever tried.

Hi Lisa,
I have some bag balm, so I will try that. It is almost back to normal now! I get my "staples" out of my temple on Monday. I know it sounds silly, but that kind of scares me! I think it is because it is still so tender.

I have never had an issue in the past with ladders . . . just be careful S.B. (shaky butt!) I doubt I will ever get up on a tripod ladder again though. I had always done "normal" ladders previously and didn't realize about the pesky back leg caving in . . . until it was too late. We will be renting scaffolding, combined with ladders over the next couple weeks to paint our house. Ron (hubbie) says I can only paint what I can reach from the ground, but we will see . . . he too works long hours and I need to get this done, since our house is for sale.

Best of luck with your painting project!

Brenda

My painting is over, thankfully. You'd be best to stay on the ground or at least use the scaffolding instead of ladders. Just make sure the platforms are secure. Be careful and good luck with the staples on Monday. I hope they don't hurt you too much.

ok ladies, what say we meet around noonish and then head over for coffee/tea or a lite bite.
I figure that way Alee & hopefully Michelle can meet up with us w/o having to be on the road so early.
Does that work or do you prefer a different time???? Carol Sue doesn't have a say in the matter, 'cause she's being high-jacked by me. LOL!
Julie can't make it as she has family coming in from out of towm.
Ok, Branda, are you ready for us!!!!!??????????????
Oh Duh!!!!I nearly forgot, we are meeting on Saturday.

Brenda, congratulations on completing all your surgery. I sure hope it was OK getting the staples out. I remember it was easy to remove them on my sister's leg, but that is not a face.

Brenda, your sense of humor is fantastic. I am sure that is what is helping you to heal and be well. Every day is one day closer to being your best self. Before you know it, you will be stonger and prettier than before the accident!!

Take care and rest. Keep that pnuemonia away with some deep breathing.
