After my fall from the ladder picking cherries I finally had my surgery to repair my poor broken up cheekbone. My husband jokingly refers to it as my "facelift". I am now sporting 5 thick metal staples in my temple! Yes, I know, visions of frankenstein come to mind . . . but I do not have bolts sticking out of my neck, as of this writing! LOL! I am hoping now, after three surgerys in less than two monthes I am done for a bit and can just move on with life. I still have some pretty awful headaches and since my cheekbone muscles "share" movement with my jaw muscles I am still on liquids, but I can see definite improvement. I am even doing another "Past Blessing Junk Warehouse Sale" next weekend here in Spokane, so things are definitely looking up. We are also trying to sell our house and buy a different one less than a mile away. Things are never dull!

Geez Brenda, I've been thinking about you all week and wince when I think of your fall. Wrap yourself in cotton batting for a week or two or three!!

Brenda, you are so funny! I'm glad you can look on the "positive" side of it. You know how they have "extreme" sports? Well, maybe you could call this "extreme" cosmetic surgery!! Will be praying for your quick healing and that the pain goes away. ((((Hugs!!))))

you silly goose, don't take Carol Sue's advice,,,,if ya wrap yourself up in batting, knowin CS, she'll turn (sew) you into a quilt! LOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!! The woman is a quiltaholic! And a good one too I might ad!
You are a trooper, trying to recover & yet still busy as a bee..... so where is the Junk Warehouse sale going to be?????
I think the weekend of the 17th there is suppose to be a Craft/peddlers type show in Airway Heights,,, might try & check it out if I can steal away from the chores at hand.
Hubby & I were expecting a furniture delivery yesterday, duh! my bad,,,,it is next Saturday. So we went shopping for a office desk for the hubby & managed to hit a few antique shops along the way. Found out that "Antique Road Show" was over at the Convention building as were all the antiquers!!!!!
Hope you are feeling better.
We are starting to make head way with getting this house in order. Our daughter arrives the weekend of the 17th Aug., yeah! I miss my baby girl so very much.
Ok, Brenda, time you you to relax, finish healing, & girlfriend, if I thought I could get "plastic surgery" done by falling out of a tree, trust me,,,I would scamper up the nearest one at warp speed!.Goodness knows from the bags under my eyes I could use it!

You girls are too funny! While the cotton batting does sound cozy, I have had more than my share of needles lately, thank you very much! LOL! I think I may need to get a new cosmetic surgeon . . . still have just as many wrinkles as before!
I am not feeling very good today . . . hopefully I am just a bit run down from everything and will bounce back by tomorrow. I am just kind of concerned, as I have that same heaviness in my chest I had last time I got pneumonia. For some reason I seem to get it at least once or twice a year over the last few years. But it has only been 4 monthes since the last time, so I hope it is just a bad day and nothing more. If it is pneumonia again, it will be obvious by tomorrow. So tired of myself . . . I want to be a fun healthy person. It is like I am a kid trapped in an old woman's body! LOL!
Well, I think I'll hit the sofa for another nap.

Brenda, you ARE a fun person, and the healthy will come! I'd love to get directions to your antique/junk/fabulous things sale, as I'm sure lots of us local gals would. Would you post/bump them? I can't seem to find them.
I'd love to bring you a little something to keep your spirits up, but I don't want to intrude on you getting rest to a speedy and lasting healing. Thought delivering it while shopping would be great. Big gentle hug.

Thanks Grace . . . looks like you answered Michelle's question. I would love to see all of you "local gals . . . no not loco! LOL! The sale goes from 9 am to 5 pm both days, though if it dies by 4 pm on Saturday, I may shut down then. I am still pooped today, but a little better than yesterday.

As soon as the delivery company calls with a time frame, I'll call you. I made sure to read the sales receipt correct this time! I really thought the delivery was for this past weekend, talk about a bummer!, & I know my DH things I need new reading glesses!!!!
