I hope all my fellow farm girls had a wonderful August birthday! I did. We stayed at my cousin's for the weekend. Not really for my birthday, but for my aunt and uncles 50th . Dawn made a wonderful dinner, and just as wonderful cranberry pound cake. She also had a present for me too. We had a great stay with them. They took us to the Chicago botanical gardens, which, even though it was raining, it was beautiful. What a great weekend. Thanks Dawn.

Thanks for the birthday wishes!! I spent the night at our county fair with the kids who were taking care of the animals, I have to say I really do enjoy that. It's fun for my birthday to always fall sometime during the fair!

I hope the August birthday farmgirls had a great time celebrating their special day this month. I had a wonderful time with my Windy Pines Farmgirl cousin here on her birthday. She gave me more presents though then I gave her. And it wasn't even my birthday! Thanks again Michele for the Windy Pines beef, chicken, eggs, grape jam, homemade laundry detergent, purse, magazines, dish rag (that looks like a hot pad!)and rhubarb! Boy is it ever great having a farmgirl for a cousin! We'll need to have you back here soon!
