Wow, what happened to the price of gas yesterday? It started out two days ago at $2.89 or higher here, then fell to $2.76, then yesterday morning it was $2.67 (I thought someone put the sign up wrong) and by yesterday afternoon it was $2.60 (with my discount card..)

Wow! I was almost afraid to buy it, in case it is still going down, but my tank was getting --pretty-- low, so I went ahead.

But hubby dearest is travelling and he had to pay $3.13 near Chicago...

We were $3.15 on Saturday, and $2.75 this am. I sure as h-e-double hockey sticks don't get it!

If you go south of us about an hour, it's always around $2.80.

I have a unique situation...I just recently found out that I inherited my mothers part of an oil/gas well(s), not sure how big the field is. So the higher gas/oil gets (I guess it's the barrel price) I make more money but then it costs me more to fill my 3/4 ton pickup. I drive a company big rig so don't pay for fuel but we are starting to run a lot of bio diesel.

What a conumdrum (sp??), eh?? hehehe...

Don't sweat the small stuff...

It seems the prices here go up and down several times a day but the last time I remembered to look I think we were down to $2.89/gallon.

The range out here is 3.19 down to 2.75, depending what station you go to, or what town you are in. Go figure. MB

Hey, gals! Just thought I would make EVERYBODY feel better with one tiny sentence! Here in France gas prices are, and have been for quite awhile, the equivalent of about $7.00 per gallon. This isn't the land of small and often TINY cars for nothing! Have a terrific day! Nance

I am so glad that gas prices are going down! The car is getting pretty low and could use a fill up! I have developed "blinkers" for gas prices. You know those eye sheilds they sometimes put on carriage horses so they can't see to their sides? Yeah I have stopped looking at the gas prices. I would have a heart attack for sure if I did! I just say "Hmm I have $10 to put in the car...oh.. only 2.5 gallons..." lol

My sister is an oil broker so she is always happy to hear of high gas prices. I think it's $2.87 or something like that when I filled up a few days ago.

Around here it's around 2.87 to 2.75.

All the CITGOs have lowered theirs, but I boycot these due to Hugo Chavez bashing the U S. I hear these stations will be up for a name change.....but I still won't buy here.

It is around $2.90 here. I hope it keeps dropping. It would sure make traveling with our Fifth Wheel more doable.

It's dropped to about $2.85 for regular in Northern Nevada. Figures that both of my cars take premium gas, but that was my choice to get the turbo in the PT Cruiser. Whenever I gripe about gas prices, my other half tells me to just pay it; that's what pays his wages in a roundabout way..since he works at the head of the pipeline in Alaska. The per diem my company pays does not cover the gas these days, good thing I don't have to pay for having the car serviced-thanks to Larry's mechanic skills.
