There are others who are working on their blocks still, so don't stress out about it. I am spread a little thin myself right now, so just relax and anjoy the process instead of rushing through it just to get done. They will be here soon enough! |

i am all messed up right now...so many school and sports functions...when i sat down with my september calendar and all our event info..I scheduled 79 things! and that did not include simply going to school and work each day. And nothing that just comes up that we do...or things like buying groceries or getting gas or feed, etc. |

Sheryl, I am working on mine. The first pattern I chose did not work out so well. I was a little off. The second pattern is ok. I think I am going to stick with that one. I am going to try my best to get them all finished by this weekend. I dont like being late with anything. I also dont like being sloppy with my blocks. Im not stressing I just like my work to be good. I have not been on line is a while and I hope that everyone is doing well. Nicie is ok I hope. And Clare, how are you doing? Everything ok with you too? I can not wait to see everyons blocks. Fall is probably my favorite season.

So glad that they arrived, I wanted to do the embrodiery on them all and realized I was way out of my league to try and get that done before sending them off. Lofty dreamer aren't I. This ought to be lots of fun. No sweating it girls, you will get them in. Besides it is still to darn hot to sit under a quilt!!!!!! Relax and enjoy yourselves, breath ladies breath.
Enjoying life. |

hey everyone! I just took a quilting class for Dresden Plate so eventually maybe I'll try to get in a quilt swap. I took quilting in college...but that was ONLY 25 years ago...LOL now I am starting a new class...loving the classes. re-learning...LOL

Hi Linda, Good for you. I am just now getting back into quilting more after about taking 3yrs off. I am also taking a few classes to brush-up. The one thing I still need to work on is the actual quilting part. I usually have someone else do that for me. I am taking a machine quilting class next month so hopefully I will improve! I took a hand quilting class a few years ago and it was not pretty let me tell you. Oh, please sign-up it is a lot of fun and your blocks will be just perfect. Cheryl

Sunshine, wouldn't it be 14 x 2 = 28 as there are 15 in each swap, you being one of them. So, 15-1=14. IS that right?

I am thinking that even if you are signed up two times, it should be 14 blocks for each one if you don't send to yourself. If I am wrong, you will get them back anyway. I have not heard from Cabinmoose in a while and I emailed her to see if she was still taking part in this swap. If any of you talk to her, ask her to let me know, ok? Thanks.
Had a great time in NYC this weekend and was totally excited to see Bev live and in person! What a blast all the way around! |

I just recounted it would be 26 I need to send in so these will go out monday or tuesday as I need to make 1 more
there are 13 names some duplicates other than my own so 13 x2 is 26 so that is what I will send

I would make two for my self twice which is 4 taken away as in each set I make I am in it twice as a participant receiver thus 4
here is the list of all of us we each get one block from every one else 1.sewgirlie 2.suzyhomemaker 3.Carol Sue 4.Sunshine 5.Sunshine 6.mkmomus 7.jcbtxstars 8.katmom 9.smoothiejuice 10.khartquilt 11.Cheryl 12.Cinnamongirl 13 Cinnamongirl 14.ktknits 15.Cabinmoose
total 15 ( I am ignoring duplicates as every one will make one for every one at this point in the equation) I agree with this number just fine now if I remove my name from the swap and make 2 for every one else as that is what I agreed to every one gets two from me ( see if I made it for myself I would have to make two for the first me and two for the second me)
So now if I make one for every one and exclude myself and do this twice as I am making two sets I get 26 blocks
1.sewgirlie 2.sewgirlie 3.suzyhomemaker 4.suzyhomemaker 5.Carol Sue 6.Carol Sue 0. Me being skiped 0. Me being skiped 0. me being skiped 0. Me being skiped 7.mkmomus 8 mkmomus 9.jcbtxstars 10.jcbtxstars 11.katmom 12.katmom 13.smoothiejuice 14.smoothiejuice 15.khartquilt 16.khartquilt 17.Cheryl 18.Cheryl 19.Cinnamongirl20.Cinnamongirl 21.Cinnamongirl 22.Cinnamongirl 23.ktknits 24.ktknits 25.Cabinmoose 26.Cabinmoose thus 26 blocks for every one else every one else gets two from me but cinnamongirl gets 4
notice how cinnamon girl has four from me that is what would happen is she made them for me and if I made them for myself 4 blocks would be made for me by me. as we both signed up twice
thus 26 blocks I hope this visual helps every one understand this I am sending the correct amount every one will get their two blocks or four blocks in cinnamon girls case from me
this is also true for the blocks cinnamon girl makes 26 would be her count too since she is signed up twice if we make them for our selves then 30 every one else would be making 14 blocks if they don't count them self if they do make them for them self then 15 thanks sunshine
