Thank you. I do hope that you are not disappointed...I keep thinking should I have trimed them more? pressed them again? start all over again? I think that the last 3 or 4 that I did are closer to good than the others. I'm not giving up...practice, practice?
Thank you all for the encouraging words.

My squares are never quite right! and everyone here will still love you all the same! Good job for actually doing them to completion!!!! They look great!

I never worry about perfect size and somehow they all go together fine in the end. Also, once you have all of the blocks, you will see if you have to cut them all down a little or just add a little border to one that is off a bit. If it is only a tiny bit off, then a good ironing with steam and a bit of stretching will do the trick.

I am so happy with the blocks I have seen so far. Cannot wait to make a quilt with them for the cooler months!

If my squares had to be perfect I would have to give up quilting! I will get mine mailed off this Friday. Now off to work I go.

I agree Cheryl! I never make a perfect quilt and people who insist on tearing seams out all the time need to take up drinking! They are too tightly wound.

It will be awesome to cuddle up in the fall quilt we are all making together!

Julia: Your blocks are here! Thanks for being so early and for making them so gorgeous.

Girls: You are going to be so happy with the blocks Julia made. We are going to have a lovely, fall quilt to wrap up into! Wait until you see them in person. Fabulous!

Oh duh!!!! I forgot Monday is Labor Day!
My blocks are done, finished them up last night.
So I will start packaging all 3 of my swap goodies today, & ship them all on Tuesday.
Yippeee, now to start working on the clothes pins. Perfect day, since it is kinda gloomy outside. I found a package of clothes pins that I had stashed so I can start decorating today. happy, happy, joy, joy!

Ladies, I finished those pirate costumes. remind me to say "no" to bandfront costumes next year. I hate working under such tight time pressure and trying to fit each girl to look right. Steve promises to video tape the show for me tonight so I can see them all duded up. I told Maddie if I take Jake trick or treating this year, I am wearing her pirate costume!!

Ok, so tomorrow I go finish my first nine up and cut the next nine out and get them done this weekend. Looking forward to completing them for everyone and sending them off. It is good to have a project to keep busy that is fun and worth the effort. I can't wait to have a quilt from all of these.
