My daughter Marie had a picture perfect pregnancy. Never sick once. The poor girl was in labor for 30 hours...17 of which she did nothing but throw up. But, after 35 minutes of pushing, Westin Lane was born last evening at 6:45pm! The midwife got there just in time. Westin came out half way and the cord was wrapped around his little neck...twice. She quickly cut the cord and he started to move. She told Marie to pull him out the rest of the way....so, Marie delivered her own baby! They are both just fine! He weighs 6 pounds 4 ounches and is 19 and 1/2 inches long. He has dark black hair and blue eyes. He's so tiny! We just feel so blessed that he is fine....I told Marie that he was supposed to be born! This whole thing could have turned out a lot different...but Thank God everything is aok. Dh and I are going to the hospital now to visit them all. Her and Dave just bought a house three days ago and they will be moving in two weeks. Isn't it wonderful when life comes together? Praise the Lord. Hugs, Mommom to two beautiful boys!

Oh, the blessing you have recieved, praise God the little guy is alright because that is more of a miracle than most realise. Even with doctors delivering him would have been tough for him to make it after the struggle to survive in the womb.
I am elated for you. This little guy was meant for a special life..
Blessings Pauline

I spent the night at the hospital with Marie and Westy last night and brought them home today around lunchtime. Marie fed the baby his lunch and then I fed Marie hers. They are both taking a nap now. He slept four straight hours in the hospital last night! He's such a cutie! I am going to develop pictures tomorrow and will put a couple on here for you to see! Thank you all for letting me share this most special time in my life. Hugs, Mommom Susan
