We have a new arrival at "Ludwig Hills"! The first calf for the season was born yesterday. Traditionaly I get to name the first born, but it is so fun I thought I might let you girls have a go. I will let this post run for a week, and at the end I will pick the best name.

Here she is.O.K. so she is not the prettiest calf we have ever had, but she has some nice markings.

Friends are the best collectables.

Something about those eyes...I say Fiona.

Congratulations, and what a gift! I want to snuggle with her on my couch!

She is adorable.. i love her sweet color.. so gentle looking too..
Something in her has some mischief though!!
i think it' is those ears Shirley!!
Maybe the way she has them all stretched out soaking up the sun!!!
The way the are all ribbed.. her ears are reminding me a bit of a Gremlin!! But the SWEET Gremlin.. How about Gizmo?
That was the sweet ones name.. remember?

What a cutie! Even if she does have big ears. My name suggestion is Zip, for her little lightening bolt down her leg (but it's not really an endearing girlie name like some of the others!)

She is cute! Just the right color for "Coffee" or "Latte" Actually she reminds me of one of those Brachs candies my Gram used to get. They were caramel w/the white stuff on the middle. I am sure you will find a good name for her. She looks so soft!

With the little spot of white on her forehead, and the swirls of white on her feet and legs, I vote for:

Star Dancer,
or
Milky Way,
or
Comet.

Oh boy! this is going to be a hard choice. So many fantastic and fitting names. I like them all! Maybe I can give her a combination of a few and she can have a real long name like a royal.
