Both Sunny and Jet have had the saddle sitting on their backs this week! Jet could have cared less, but Sunny kept jumping out from under it. Took four tries before she stood still for it

Didn't get any pics of the saddling job as I was busy holding onto the horses and the saddle, but Darling got some shots of Sunny's recent hoof trimming. Now, that was a fun experience, lol! She had to be drugged, then it took three of us to get the job done...

Wow- I am sure you will be happy when Sunny is a bit more tame and little more bomb-proof. It looks like you all had your hands full this weekend! Even from this angle (hehe) she looks great!

This morning I set the saddle back on Sunny. She didn't jump at all. I even went to her right side and let down the stirrup and led her around. She's ultra sensitive behind her elbows, though, so it'll be awhile before we cinch anything up.

Her treat for being such a good girl is going down to the neighbor's place. She's not a spooky horse at all, just fearful of humans. But this afternoon there was a big change in her as she allowed me to walk right up to her without doing her usual dance around me, as well as letting me touch her muzzle. She's going to make such an awesome horse for someone!
