Hi Jayne,
I have sort of neglected our little swap. I know Aunt George had to take care of some personal business and I haven't been on the boards much but I wanted to let you know that your package is finished and will be on its way either tomorrow or Friday! There is a little something in it for everyone so I hope you enjoy!

If KT knits reads this-your second sock is just a few inches shy of being done and the rest of the package is ready to go so I'm hoping it will be done in time for the book release! Thanks for your your patience!

Hi Meg!

I was just going to e-mail you that I'm in no hurry--don't sweat getting it out because I'm going to be leaving on vacation on the 19th and won't be back until the 30th. So don't worry about trying to get it to me before I leave. You can just take a deep breath and finish knitting it while you're reading the new book!! That "second sock syndrome" gets us every time!! The first one always goes so well, and the second one seems to languish on the needles.

Did you go to see the movie release today? I saw a big promo for it locally, but I haven't thought about when to go see it yet.

Kathy

I actually a kind of nightmare about your sock. I had made these huge holes in them and couldn't fix it! I'll relax a little, thanks for being so sweet about it. We haven't see the movie yet but hope to today or tomorrow. All depends on finding a babysitter! Have a great vacation and maybe there will be a package waiting for you when you get home.

Hi Megan,
Thanks so much - I haven't been around much lately either. I don't know if Georgann is going to send to you. Maybe I should send to you instead? I don't know if I should email Georgann and bother her about it.
Just had the book launch party today and we are up to chapter three. Reading it slowly to drag it out!
Best wishes,
Jayne

Hi Jayne,
Yeah, I didn't want to bother Georgann about it so I just assumed that she wasn't able to send. Which is fine. It was fun enough putting your package together! I hope you and the kids get it soon.

Megan,
The package arrived yesterday - WOW!!! Thanks so much; the kids and I are in HP heaven! And I love my stitch markers - they are just what I wanted and needed. I have just been using the boring little plastic circle ones to date, but these are much better looking! And the owl! I MUST learn needle felting now after seeing what you created. Ben loves him - he has been flying him around the house. He will have a little friend soon as I am knitting Errol from the Charmed Knits book for Ben's birthday.
Everything is just fantastic. The girls will write back soon. We are going away for two weeks, so if not while we are away, then when we get back.
Once I get back, I will make up a parcel for you. I figured Georgann would be out of action for now. Could you please email me (as I have fogotten!!) your kids names and ages and what they like - colours, etc. I will put together something for you all.
Thanks so much.
Best wishes,
Jayne

I was out of town and just got back. I'll e-mail you soon. I'm so glad that you and the kids liked everything. It was really fun putting it together! How did the little potion bottle necklaces hold up? I was a little worried about those. I finished book 7 and loved it. Talk to you soon!

The necklaces were fine - the girls have been wearing them heaps.
We still haven't finished the book - we only get in a chapter a night!
Best wishes,
Jayne
