As many of you know I teach art. I am thinking of a project that I would like to do with a few of my students that will require LOTS of bottle caps. I am looking for all different colored ones. Soda bottle caps, milk jug caps, juice bottles, even those lids off those GIANT buckets full of pickles. As long as it is plastic it will work. I do not drink much soda so I am limited to what comes off of my milk jugs.
If anyof you use a lot of bottled stuff and could start saving some caps for me I would REALLY appreciate it. I wont need them until September so if you are willing to set aside a small box or a Walmart bag and fill it up that would be awesome.
I am either willing to pay for you to ship them to me or would be happy to trade something handmade. I am quite crafty so let me know what you are interested in.
Email me if you have more questions. Thanks for your help!

I can help by saving my plastic caps both at home and work. I'll even see if some of my co-workers will "donate." This sounds like a fun project. |

I will save & then send you some. I get plenty of those in bottled water & I can ask co-workers to help too. Someone is always drinking soda at work. With such a variety of drinks out there, you should get almost every color of the rainbow & then some. Would be interested to hear what you are making.

Well I try to do at least one Recycled art project with each of my classes. We will use the bottle caps and attach them to masonite board to make mosaics. Thats why I need LOTS and Lots of different COLORS! The different sizes and depths of the different caps help add texture and dimension to the art works!
