Well today Ca-Reds and I got to meet!! Frickin blast , thats all I can really say.We had lunch then went on the hunt for a fabric shop. The one we were told about was closed, but there was a Thrift Store near, so we went in, I found 2 REALLY cute button up cowboy/girl shirts and a really cute skirt all for 9bucks! We went and got a coffee cause I was smokin mad, we almost got ran over by some a#$ in a parking lot.Seriously now. Then we went to JoAnnes I had never been in one before and I was impressed. WA Girls do we have one near by?Today was great Kristy I am glad we got to meet we'll have to do it again before I leave. I also hope you enjoyed looking through your bags of fabric. Arent you glad you came? I am. I hope you all have a great 4th of July!!

If all goes well, Carol Sue and I will meet on Saturday. We'll only get to have coffee and move on as we are off on our vacation, but I'm looking forward to it! How about you Carol Sue?

So looking forward to it.
Amanda, yes we have JoAnn's. We also have the Buggy Barn. Oh my can that place get me in trouble. It is a carriage house, small that is literally in the middle of wheat fields. They run a farm and turned their carriage house into a quilt shop. You can find them on line at www.buggybarnquilts.com. I love the ladies in the shop and it is fun to go there. I love there fat quarter sales the first of every month. They are 1.50 and it is fun to stock up. You have to go into the shop to get the deal. It has helped me be able to make a couple quilt tops for not lots.
Take a spin and check in.
later, Carol Sue

Enjoying the moments.

OK, C.S., I'm thinking you are gonna have to be the tour guide for Amanda & me when we getup there...I am interested in checking out the Buggy Barn, after all, I need to get into trouble too!!!!
I googled Micheals & Joanns....Amanda we are in good standing, now to sign up for their mailing list, using multiple names to score more coupons...
Oh & I don't know about WA., but out here in So. Cal, we can use Michaels coupon over @ Joanns & Joanns over @ Micheals!!!!!

ok so i will also be a tour guide, she hasnt told you of all the fun shops we have around here. yes i get myself into trouble too but sometimes its just worth it. their is a cute quilt shop in cheney(realitively cheap to have your quilts machine quilted) and a shop out towards the division y. but i do have to say my favorite is the buggy barn but before you buy any books or patterns ask us if we have them already (save ya some dough, to spend on more fabric ;)hehehe) cant wait for u guys to get here and i may have some great news soon.

So Teresa and Carol Sue,

Have you ever gone to the outdoor quilt show at the Buggy Barn? They have it the last weekend (usually)in August. It's fun if you've never been. I've gone with sisters or friends or both for the past 3 years.

I can get in SO much trouble in that place too, Carol Sue.

Marcia,
let me know when the next quilt show is at the Buggy Barn, I'll put it on my list of things to do & places to explore when I get up to Wash.

The next show there is August 25 & 26. I plan on going again this year so maybe some of us can get together. Fun!
