After working tirelessly on my garden this year I went out this morning to find that the cows in our pasture(not our cows, but the renters) had eaten basically the whole lot of my garden. I wanted a fence, but the hubby had no time and I thought I could get away with it. I thought the deer would ravish the garden before those cows. Frustrating- thanks for letting me vent. Hope all your gardens turn out better than mine.
Oh Cynthia! What a disappointment! I am not sure what you planted, but some of it might recover! I know carrots can sometimes sprout new tops. I am not sure if other root crops will do that as I haven't grown them before. Is there enough of a growing season to re-plant?
Hugs!

The amazing one handed typist! One hand for tying, one hand to hold Nora!
I can so relate! My lambs used to escape all the time; first thing they'd hit were the brussels sprouts. Then any type of cabbage or broccoli they could wrap their lips around. Little stinkers. City Boy finally put up a fence...
