I figured here may be more appropriate than marketplace, as most of those ads are craft related. Feel free to move if neccessary

East Friesian ewe, yearling, 70% EF, twinned this spring. Didn't milk her much as we were leaving for a few days a couple weeks after weaning, however, she did give up to four cups a day. $200 Can breed her back for next year.

East Friesians have a long lactation, enabling milking most of the year. Their milk is high in solids, meaning you can get double the cheese from a gallon of milk than you can with goat or cow. It's also a great deal more nutritious than cow or goat milk, plus naturally homogonized. People with allergies to cow or goat milk can often drink sheep's milk (which tastes sweeter, too!)

Also available; two 77% EF ram lambs $250 each. One yearling spotted EF ram, 85%; this years lamb crop on the ground. Sweet disposition. $300 Cross your ewes with an EF ram and you'll greatly improve the next generation's milking ability.

I would be interested if I had land. Alas, no fun barnyard buddies for me :( I just get to have my Sky-dog until we have more land and own it!
