Its haying time here. Checked 3 different places for forecasts, and got 3 different forecasts! Wish someone could get it right. Cut 5 acres yesterday, and about 12 going down today. We took the plunge, off the deep end, and have ordered a round baler. We always baled about 5000 small squares every year. But I have one less helper this year, so figured it was time. Our new baler won't be here till the 26th, but they are bringing out a loaner on Thursday!!! Yippee. Next I have to learn how to run it!!! Michele |

Michele-
Do you mainly sell the round bales to dairies for the cows? I know most horse owners don't like the round bales.

We already got our two fields done about 2 weeks ago! Haying starts a little earlier down here. We got a round bailer last year and just love it!

Alee-we don't usually sell any hay. We use it all ourselves. I have 3 boys, and they have helped since they could pick up a bale. But now, one is off living in town, and it was just time to make the switch. We will still square bale some second crop, for Summer and calving time. MIchele |
