That looks like a lake we found when we went camping (in Oregon) I can't recall where it was but it was so clear you could see to the bottom. Our only son at the time was about 3 or 4 and it was such a hot day that we stripped down to our undies and went for a swim. Much to my horror, the next time our son spoke to my in laws he told them that Mom & Dad went skinny dipping in the woods....I had no idea he even knew of such a word at that age. Boy was I ever red in the face!!!
Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly.
It's called Parrish Lake. It's up past Detroit Lake on hwy 22, East of Salem. The road up there is Parrish Lake road, but we usually go to Daly Lake, which is first on the road and closer. Parrish Lake is about a mile hike off the mountain road. We later got a map of the area and there are alot of smaller lakes all over. I can't wait to explore. Of course my DH is going to scout elk for bow season.
We are in North Carolina right now and found a lake too! No one else was there, and it was so peaceful! The fall colors were so pretty reflected in the water.
