I'm mailing mine tomorrow. I've had the soap done for a month and the packaging done for a week. But with this stupid infection and medication making me feel yucky I haven't gotten out to do much of anything. It will be so much fun to get the packages back to see all the goodies!!!

Okay, I'm confused.
I just looked through all 8 pages of this thread and I don't see where it was announced that the swap was extended to August 31 and the OP still says July 31.
I'm not sent an email where to send the swap items and I'm not notified about changes in the swap? Did some folks drop out that needed to have spaces filled?
Would you send me an email E to make sure you have my correct email address?

| I am sure something just came up for someone and we like to maintain friendly swaps, right? you know i have sent several emails on this sight that did not go through as they have upgraded to handle higher traffic...it really is hard to know if an email makes it through the system or not. I just checked my profile and my "allow email from forum" was turned off.
that explains a lot!!
I've let the lettuce & spinach go to seed (so I have seed to plant later this fall in the greenhouse) so no garden spinach. But I can whip up a batch of mozzarella from fresh cow's milk.

I want to keep this a friendly swap.... since I am Queen here, I wanted a few extras to be able to join so the date was extended. I did send everyone emails.... so if you do not get them... check you spam mail folder or I may have been blocked. The number holds at 15 peeps, 14 items. If some one need to drop out, I have soapmaker friends waiting in the wings ready to join this swap, and they are hoping someone will since they Love to get items like handmade washclothes and soap from soapmakers they have not seen before.
I have hosted many many soap swaps over the past 11-ish years. Typically or of 15 swappers, 1-2 will have to drop out. Things happen, and I understand it does happen and it is no ones fault. Also the last box will trickle in about 2 weeks after the due date. I will factor in this also... and whoever is the last late box, I do expect everyone to be nice and understanding and dont b*itch at me or them... just understand that this does happens. If you become a P.I.T.A. and are do not play nice, I have no problems sending you box back to you, and making a phone call to one of the many soapmakers and/or artists friends to take your spot.
So Play nice with each other
Be understanding to you sister farmgirl
then it will be hearts and flowers fun for all.

I was confused because I haven't received any emails about this swap.
I discovered the ability to email me from this forum was turned off, so there was no way you could have sent me an email. I've got that corrected now so we're good to go.

I didn't get the extension notice either. But that's great! My package won't go out until tomorrow and it would have arrived about Aug 2nd. Now I won't be late -- I'll be early!!!
But maybe next time we could post any extensions, etc to the forum so that everyone will be sure to get it.

Well, there I was sweating getting mine out tomorrow so it would arrive by July 31 and now I have a whole month! I will get it in the mail soon though. I have to try to find a smaller flat rate box at the P.O. tomorrow as the ones I have at home are twice as big as they need to be.
And, those chips and salsa sound great! Thanks, girls!

Okay- if we have another month then I am going to mill my soap. I like it to be in pretty forms, not just the squares that it originally gets put into...so good thing I hadn't actually gotten it to Fed-Ex yet then, eh? :)
