How adorable are they???? ok, I have one question...are all the aprons that we make for the Halloween swap to be different or can they all be the same?????

Ok, as of last night I have 15 Spooktacular minis done & ready to go. I will wait a few more days before sending them off to Miss Kathie,,,,just in case we get a few my gals to join in the fun....

| they can all be the same, or you can make a variety..mine were all pretty much the same, but carmen was using a bag of clothes destined for the dumpster to make hers! |

Wooooo Hooooo... I made 11 Halloween Minis today! Little bit frustrating around the waistband, and I still have a little hair left on my head....Oh how will I look for anniversary dinner out with hubby with all these clumps of hair pulled out??????

I am heading back down to the sewing room after dinner to make a couple extra,, ,,how fun to see every one get excited & involved with the minis....hummm, maybe we will break our record when it comes time to make the Christmas ones.....I have my fabric, I just might have to start sewing them now just to get ahead of the game!
Jess, your little Carmen, is adorable in her apron.
How wonderful that she enjoys the creativity & art of sewing.
ok, ladies I am off the the kitchen to rustle up some grub for dinner.

Hi everyone,
Susan ( the soap maven or not quite june cleaver) asked me to post to you all that she is on the way to take her Mom to the hospital. Her Mom is still bleeding, basically hemorrhaging, she thinks all the blood she received in the transfusion she had the other day. She is being admitted to the hospital tonight and then in the morning the doctor wants to cauterize the bleeding in her bladder. She is not sure how long she will be in the hospital. Keep her Mom in your prayers, Susan also. They are both tired. Maybe this will make her Mom a little more comfortable as she is in much pain.

Miss Juice, Carmen is beautiful and I have her tropical apron and love it. I am trying out my idea right now for my Halloween mini, I am liken it so far, think orange and black.....hahaha

I asked her if she wanted me to post it someplace else, but she said on the mini apron thread. I am thinking she may give an update on another thread in a day or so when she knows more.
I cannot seem to get motivated to sew, between school and housework I am swamped! I am going to get it done!! I won't be first this time though, thats for sure!!! I am going to get my girls to help me. Little mama can help cut and my older daughter wants to start sewing so this would be a good first project. She can do some straight lines, and I can do the wonky stuff! Hey, my husband comes home this week, he may be enlisted too!!!!
Thank you all for your well wishes for Susan's Mom.

Healing vibes going out to Susan Mom....you're in our prayers....as well as Clare in Tyler, PA. Ok the minnis are adorable...can't believe I miseed the last swap. Gonna go finish these and get into the mail. I am making about 22 of them...hopefully that covers any late entries.....if not, can alwyas do more.

OK girls, I feel some motivation coming on. Work sucks, DH is out of town for a couple days, the house is a mess, but what the heck--who needs a clean house anyway? I bought my Halloween fabric and itsy bitsy bias tape last week. Hmmmmm.........I do believe I'm feeling a sick day coming on! (I have 35 of them "banked", so I s'pose I could take one without really feeling too bad)
Off to finish yo-yo's and get started on mini's!!
....and praying all the while for Clare and Susan & her mom.

Kathy: Take that sick day!! I plan on doing that a few times this year too so that I can enjoy life a little more even though work is good and I do like it for the most part. It's just too busy during the school year and I need a day or two to myself to relax and do "homey" stuff.
I have not even started my minis, but I do love doing them now that I know I can do those little seams and pieces. |

| It is my goal to make at least one apron today, if I don't get started I won't get it done on time. Knowing me I will try to have mine done before my husband gets home. Back to home school and cutting aprons! Oldest needs to get on here and do Spanish lessons............adios!!! |
