I had to stop cooking supper and come type a funny story. My husband just called from out in the middle of the Gulf Of Mexico. I sent him the above picture and he said and I quote " What if they fall down at night while I am sleeping and strangle me?" then he said " Well, I always knew I would die in bed but I figured fire would be involved, not mini aprons!".He is so crazy. He cracks me up.
I thought you all would appreciate that!!! |

Oh mega WOW!, got home from running errands and was heading of to go over to Davenport, checked the mailbox & to my surprize, (insert squeals & giggles)       I found a puffy envelope filled with the most cutest mini aprons!!!Thank you Thank you Thank you. I insisted on showing them one by one to my poor hubbie while he was trying to drive..... sisters, Thank you so very much & Miss Kathie, you are awesome! Thanx for hosting this delightful swap!

I am so jealous about all your mini aprons....but I can wait to see the Halloween ones.....
I made my first 2 mini's. I may try to post pics today...wish me luck with that.
They are mummy type with spider....I think ya'll will like them!
I think it's getting to be Halloween in August in my house!!!

This was my surprise for being the 1st to get my aprons in. I hate having my picture taken but since she did such a nice thing for me I figure I will do it this once. My hair is a curly mess!! I love the apron and I think she did a beautiful job.

My favorite style of aprons are country style with different fabrics...love it!

I love all the mini aprons. Do you make up your own patterns? I cant wait to see the Halloween ones. If you guys don't mind a beginner, I would love to join in on the next mini apron swap.

Okay...I have Halloween fabric coming out my ears now. Rachel (15) got in on the planning/designing...let's just say "Posh Witches" would LOVE these we are stitching up. Do the words black crinoline mean anything to you????

Hi all,
I think my hint for my Halloween mini's is............. they are pretty corny !!!!
Gotta go put up groceries but I had to throw mine out there!!!!! I hope to start cutting out mine tonight after I spend time with the kids in the pool.
I intend to make them much bigger and I think I am going to make a few different patterns instead of all the same. |
