Mine is pretty self explanatory. Grandma to Levi. My first grandson but second grandchild. My blog address is my first grandchild's nickname and her name for me.

Theoanne is my given name. I use it as my login on lots of things because no one else has the same name. I would have been more creative here if I would have realized how much fun everyone was.
Teddie is my nickname

Mine's a bit tricky but that's good because no one else has it. I use it for all my internet stuff - in fact if you google it, you just get me. Firstly, 'sweet' - well I like to think I am *grin*- and 'proserpina' from the roman goddess of the spring. Years ago, when I made up my name, I was taking a classical literature course and my brain was filled with greeks and romans.

edited to add: I just googled my name and the strangest thing - there is another girl out there with a myspace account who has my name!! She must have done it relatively recently.. Strangest thing of all though - her real name is Megan! (Mine is Meghan) Creepy...

My middle name is Maria, and I'm in Arizona :) I've always loved my middle name but really never had the occasion to use it "in real life", so I use it online.

This is fun to read...okay, I love huckleberries. Sweet, small, wild, hard to find, healthy. Also, I make wine for a hobby. And being called a "huckleberry" used to be a term for an everyday down home person. Like "Huck Finn", sort of tomboyish. I love layering meanings. Wine isn't such a fun word to layer meanings with though.

Do you know what movie the line "I'm your huckleberry." comes from? Hint: it's a western. I'm still puzzling over laluna...was that Madonna in "La Isla Bonita"?

On the subject of La Luna, check out the album of that name by Sarah Brightman. WOW!

I'm blueroses for several reasons. First, I love Tennesse Williams' "The Glass Menagerie". Second, because blue roses don't naturally occur and they are sort of like an elusive dream, sort of like a unicorn. Magical, mystical - just out of reach. I don't know -- I'm a goof ball!

Mine is much like blueroses... Wrenn is a family name, blue because I like the name Blue. The combination sounds elusive and magical.

Oh, this has been fun to read!

@Michelle - good guess on Madonna, but nope. I'll give you the group name next and see what you all can come up with. Hint: Duran Duran! ;-) And as far as the "I'm your huckleberry" line, I can *totally* hear it in my head but can't place it to save my life!

Funny thing about BlueRoses...on another board I used to belong to, there was a girl who used "BlueRoses" as her screenname...but she's in Toronto!

(and now I need to check out the Sarah Brightman album that references "laluna" - I'm not familiar with it!)

My parents named me Martha, but never called me that. I was the only girl in the family (2 older brothers), and the first Granddaughter, so when I came home from the hospital my Grandpa took me next door to meet the neighbors and the neighbor said" Well lookie here, we got us a Luzyanne"!!! So the family always called me Luzy and I've always gone by Luanne, my middle name. So I figured that you girls are like my family so I should go by Luzy here too!

Hungry like the wolf? I never was a big Duran Duran fan. Something about the lizard on their video, back when MTV was still all music videos.

"I'm your huckleberry." from Tombstone...Doc says it in the bar. :)

Hey, take it from an 80's Brit Chick, Duran Duran were and still are pretty cool! (Boy, I miss the 80's!!!) How sad is that!
I remember, was it Val Kilmer (drool) in the 'newer' version of Tomstone where he says that? I can almost hear him saying it! Man, he was so cool in that part.

Okay, mine is simple. It is my name. When I was born it was Sue Carol, 10 years ago I legally changed it to Carol Sue. I loved my name, but liked it the other way around. Carol is my Aunt, my mom's sister. Besides I was too busy trying to get on to check everything out. Didn't even think about a name!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Life is short, enjoy every moment.

I would have liked to use my name, but it was taken. So I went with Horseyrider. Guess why. There are six out in the yard....

Horses are very much my life. I walk/talk/eat/sleep/live/breathe horses. Can't get enough.

I suppose I could have used my farm name, Freestyle Farm, but I didn't think of it. Like Carol Sue, I just wanted to get registered and check the place out.

Shhh...don't read this above a whisper...

I'm a spy, and this is my secret identity. (Eyes darting around to be sure no one is looking over my shoulder and reading this...) I really live in the city where I love the smell of smog and the excitement of sitting in traffic jams for hours on end. The whole blog is a fake to throw you off course...

Okay, not really. I'm just plain ol' me and my real name.

My username is just the name of our place. I love all of your stories about how you came up with yours.
Our homestead name came from our children and they being the "sweetest harvest of all".
I have a little note about it in the side of my weblog.

ROFL Tracey! We're on to you now. :)
I think it was Val Kilmer in Tombstone... It has appeared in some old books too, but it lost favor when we became industrialized.

Mine is pretty simple. Lisa Marie is my given name. I was named after a foster child that my grandma was hoping to keep but the dad came forward and it broke her heart. So, when my mom had me she named me after that foster child and that made me Grandma's favorite!

Someone else already had lisamarie on here and so I added my house number. It's easier to remember.

I finally decided that computers weren't going to go away and I needed to learn my way around. As I was trying to figure out the internet and email systems, I commented (shouted) that the pony express was more my speed -- hence the name: ponyexpress.

I've learned that it takes as much time and energy to wish as it does to plan.
