Is the wall painted and what kind of paint? They are semi permanent..in that..they will come off, but once you remove them they cannot be used again as most likely they will be stretched out upon removal.
They can be applied to windows, mirrors and walls, but not easily moveable as the adhesive is pretty strong.(like what you'd expect from a bumper sticker) So I would plan it out pretty well on where you want to stick them on a wall.

We would not recommend putting it on top of wallpapered surfaces. It will work best on a semi glossed surface.
