our daughter gave us a fun 'game' .. it is a box of 'questions' to ponder and share your answers with each other. it's called 'table topics' .. and i understand it comes in several versions .. like for couples and children and spiritual, etc. etc.
thought it would be fun to share some of these questions (getting to know you type) with the farmgirls .. soooo .. i'll post them here ... would love to hear your answers. o.k. ... here's the first one i drew from the box:
"which is more important .. the respect of your children or your parents?"
wowzer! that's a hard one .. but what if you HAD to choose?
i think i would have to go with 'children'. they are the ones who are most likely to follow my example.

IF YOU LIVED TO BE 100 .. WOULD IT BE MORE IMPORTANT TO HAVE A SHARP MIND OR A FIT BODY?
oh gosh .. both are so important! as long as i didn't have a debilitating, painful disease .. i would go with SHARP MIND.

well .. it's a toss up between artist and writer .. but i think i'll go for WRITER.
my goal, i believe between the choices above would be to 'leave a legacy' .. and writing might be the best way for me to do that given the choices.

hmmmmmm .. not really into sports all that much .. but i can put on my thinking cap and come up with something:

WHAT DO YOU MISS ABOUT CHILDHOOD?
sooooooooo many things ... snuggling with my sister at bedtime while she read me stories under the covers with a flashlight and listening to olde timey radio shows .. playing 'cowboys' with my brother .. and all the neighborhood kids gathering on the street to play at night .. see TV which was 'new' .. chasing butterflies and catching fireflies in a glass jar .. christmas mornings with our dad .. hanging out with my girlfriends .. family gatherings .. oh so many things!
