Does anyone know how that cute little cap was put together in the photo on page 95? I've looked all over this thread for questions about it so I seem to be the first. Imagine my surprise to see someone with my "unique" hairstyle on that very page! Of course, mine is currently a lovely shade of pale apricot due to a momentary lapse of reason and a bad run-in with a toxic substance to cover my rapidly whitening locks (which were halfway down my back until all of this). And I'm nearly 19 years older than her...you can see why I'm looking for the head covering now?

Tatted to be sure, but sewn together after a long chain of tatting, or what?

all it is is a scroll pattern rings followed by chains with a medallion in the middle if you tat then it should be pretty easy to draft your own pattern

have a lovely day and may God bless you and keep you safe

Thanks Sunshine, that helps me some. Now I have to learn how to tat with the new needles I bought 2 days ago. My second youngest daughter's (6 years) nickname has been Sunshine since she was about 2 weeks old. She's strawberry blond and her hair always smelled like she spent the day in the sun.

I think that's three of us now on the boards who spell their name S-h-e-r-r-i. Pretty unusual - most people in this part of the country at least have a y or an ie on the end. Welcome to the best boards around!
