Just had to share a funny cat story about Missy's cat Esther. Since Missy has been having health problems the last couple of weeks I've been stopping on my way home from work to help feed and water the chickens and goats.

Monday night I stopped as usual and since it was a warm day I left the window down on my car. Got the animals all taken care of and got back in the car to go home. As I looked in the rear view mirror I noticed some movement in the back of my van. I looked again and Esther had decided to get in my car. I got out and opened the door and she jumped out.

I had stopped to get stuff for my lunches for the week and had a bag with sliced turkey, roast beef, and cheese sitting on the floor in between the front seats. When I got home I grabbed the bag and noticed there was a hole in the bag. I thought that was odd. Then I noticed the corner of the roast beef bag sticking out of the hole. I pulled it out and realized that Miss Esther had found my roast beef! She ate 3/4 of a pound! I laughed so hard. When I called Missy to tell her she said that she thought it was funny that Esther was licking her chops after she got out of my car! Esther had dined in fine style that night!

Did you take the rest of the roast beef back to Esther? I bet when you came to feed the farm animals you didn't expect to be feeding the cat...your lunch. :)

I'm sorry Missy isn't well... and will be praying for her. She's blessed to have you, Kay.
XO,

Ann
