I just discovered the most wonderful things on the MJF website - there is a handy travel version of crochet instructions that is just PERFECT for taking on the road - be SURE to check this out! I"m going to take mine to a copy store when I go up to the "big city" and have them laminated! http://www.maryjanesfarm.org/categories/condensed-crochet-instructions.asp

And not only that...
There are patterns for three more GORGEOUS headwraps. They are so pretty - and just in time for all of those summer farmgirl soirees!

ENJOY!!!

Outstanding- gonna laminate mine today!

I love the posts that bring our attention to these kinds of things. Somehow I miss them otherwise.

Oh, cool! Is there no end to the kindness they show us farmgirls? I just love it! I'm sending one to each of my sisters. :)

Thanks Libbie!! and of course MaryJane for the instrux!!
I've been trying to teach myself to crochet and this will be great for road trips. I've also finally ordered my book and can't wait to receive it.

I love MJF and I love free, so excellent! My Great Grandmother taught me how to single chain crochet when I was six, and I've been trying to teach myself the more advanced stitches ever since. These are the first written instructions that have ever made sense!

I printed them off on card stock, both sides & punched a hole in, then ringed. Now I'm ready for a long trip on monday, armed with MH basics, headband instructions, crochet thread & hook.

Yeah!

I printed them off and have had them with me on the road for the past 3 weeks...they have come in handy! Although I still have yet to figure out how to make a granny square. Maybe someday?

The headwraps have been so fun to make. After making the first one the pace picked up. During our trip I made and gave away 6. Now I'm making 3 more for dd & myself.
I didn't make them 84" long, just long enough to tie.
