I love the idea from Elizabeth/Botanical Bath! I think it would be helpful to know colour preferences and especially sizes, since I'm tall, but small. I think that would be fun...oh, ah, ...I should probably say...I want to be a part of the swap too!
I'll be working less hours in the summer and will have more hours for fun and sewing projects, so the timing should be just about perfect- although I will be doing costumes and a float through the 23rd of June, so my apron sewing will be limited until after that.
Yea!!! Sign me up.

Alyssa,
In June sometimes. There will be no rules and no due date. I plan to just assign partners and let everyone work out the details on thier own. I have discovered this is the way the group as a whole wants swaps to be. So I am not going to worry about the details. I hope you can join us.
Hugs,
Elizabeth

Ooh..I can't wait to see everyones aprons and tea towels. I do hope you all will share pictures. Since I'm not trueblue yet, (give me time I'm a chatter--won't take long.) I can't join. I love seeing the things my Mom has gotten in her many swaps. So adorable!!

Elizabeth,
Things are getting really busy for me, so I am regretfully going to have to bow out now before this one is started. Don't want to get in the thick of selling my house and having to pack away my machines and miss a deadline, so I'll catch an Autumn swap.

Thanks for understanding and everyone have lots of fun!!

I think I would like to take part in this, could you tell me the details on the tea towel? Can I buy a cute tea towel? I am not very good and making anything like that. And is there a specific type of apron I would need to make? I know, questions, questions, questions!!!

Hi Michelle,
I think the aprons are usually the full ones not half and the tea towels I don't think we make though I may be wrong. I am thinking they would be embroidered or something like that. Maybe we can buy them though.

Let me get this all straight...

Are we assigned partners?
Is there a deadline yet?
What about the Tea Towel? Ready Made, embellished?
Are the Aprons Full coverage or our choice? And did I mess up last swap by making a half apron??? I just got inspired...but now wonder if I was mistaken?

Trying to understand it all!!!

Susan,
I believe we are assigned partners but the swap has not started yet. Actually I believe Elizabeth said there were not any guidelines that we could work everything out with our partners. I hadn't thought of that earlier when I posted to Michelle.
