quite a busy thread today.....gracious...seems like a post is made every few minutes.....haha....I dont have anything to add today though...no sewing....*gasp*....busy moving my fabric around...i dont have as much as i thought...uh oh....haha...gotta remedy that!!....its all tiny pieces for doll making...oy...i gotta get on that again too...they are a lot of fun to make....

Eeewww....sorry E. you will truly be evil tomorrow with the colonoscopy pending LOL....you know, just kidding!
I started a new apron tonight. It is for the art apron challenge and exchange. I am calling it TEA MAGIC. I am attempting one of those gorgeous collage aprons. This is my first time on one of these, so, it may not turn out like I see it in my head........oh no, she is seeing things now! LOL
Anyway, what do you think. It is just a basic layout. The top of the apron and then a rustic patchwork soon to be attached ruffle with an English chintz that I thought looked like green and brown tea leaves. I will be adding fabric sparkle paint to the stars and the "steam" from the teapot and tea cup. The birdie is flying in with the tea bag.
Let me know what you think of this one. It is on the apron storyboard right now. I've got until October 15th to get it in.
The potholders will be in the mail this week....later this week E!! They area really cute, oh, and Bev and E your somethings will be going out tomorrow!!

All Bev's fault for starting this thread and the ensuing mayhem!! LOL
Ok, go to my recently created Blog* and you can see my machine!
Someone "antiqued" it in the past. You know that paint with the overlay of
black in it to give it an "old" look. Doesn't look bad, but someday I'll refinish
it to it's original state. This "goin' a' treadlin'" is way addictive. Naomi,
our house is well under 1,000 sq ft w/no basement. I have a regular machine,
a serger and now this treadle.
My house is for "housing" all my crafts , seriously!
The garage is for my husband's "crafts".
Our creative sides are well oiled, that's why we're such a well adjusted couple~ROFL!

Bonne, that is so odd that they would "antique" and old machine. do they not look old enough on there own?

Thanks E....all of that is actually applique that I will be working on over the next month along with some little sparkly Magpie items to go with them. I'm putting on a real teabag string and paper label for the bird to hold through his little beak. Lots of work, just wanted to lay it out tonight. Got other things needing to be finished.

Love your machine..one of mine has the same table in a different finish...but Singer Sphinx.
E---loved that little machine...300 is steep for me
I have been treadling all day..addicting..blowing off all my real work.

Bonne...1,000 square feet...aah..the space that would give me....I'm restricted to...120sq feet.....if i did my math right...and one wall is taken up with my closet, door, dreser and little table...then there is my 3 1/2 x 6 foot bed, my 2x 4 desk, my 5x3 table, my 2x3 cabinet, my 2 x 3or 4 trunk....so...yeah....hahaha...i have no more space to bring more in....aaaaaah....But...hehe when we go to move(whenever that'll be) we'll look for a place that has a mother-in-law cottage...so i could have my own place...bwahaha...

Georgann, find one of the better working used models at work
and strike up a trade with her!! Think of the good cause you'd

up in that stuffy ole attic. It's a cryin' shame, it is!!

haha, yeah, but you know, when i picked my room...i knew it was the smallest...but the blooming idiot i was didnt know that I'd pick up a hobby 6 years later that would take up alot of space with fabric....hehehehehe....yeah...give me a cottage...I think I could have alot of fun decorating....aaaah....fun fun fun!....hehe...i better finish picking up my room so i dont have to worry about it at the last minute before sewing class Tuesday...haha....

AH bummer..I was hoping they had some new ones...I have most of those patterns.....gotta love those sales...:D
BTW aunt George...got your little prize together, I'll try to get it out tomorrow(Monday) hopefully we have some other stuff to take to the PO...or hopefully we'll go get my dance shoes during PO hours....but it will go out this week...you'll know the box when you see it, its got a weird smily face and a butterfly on it :P
