                      | Just wanted to let you know how far I was able to squeeze a half-dozen lemons (bad pun...but you knew it was coming!)
 1. Reamed them & made a pitcher of lemonade.
 2. Put reamed-out halves in a pretty bowl in the fridge for 2 days, resulting in a lovely-smelling fridge.
 3. Simmered said lemon peels in a gallon of water on the stove, resulting in a lovely-smelling house.
 4. Put the boiled peels down the garbage disposal with some baking soda and vingegar, resulting in clean disposer.
 5. After cooling the lemon water, used it & a splash of vinegar to mop the floor.
 6. Enjoyed a glass of lemonade while chatting with the 'girls about this.

So, am I just silly, or does anyone else get a thrill from the made-do's like this?

                      | Wow, Jennifer. Now THAT'S impressive! :D I'm inspired to follow your example. Everything you did with lemons just sounds so refreshing!

                      | Yum! Next time I am down at Costco I am going to buy the big bunch! I didn't last time because I wasn't sure if I would eat them all before they spoiled!

                      | Fantastic! Sounds like the beginning of a contest...How far can you stretch a lemon? Thanks for the ideas. :)

                      | You can make a battery with a lemon too! Not very practical...but yet another use!
