Well you can tell I had a massive brain fart when I made that post! I meant expert origami lol I have already completed my expert macrame! Has anyone ever completed the expert origami?
Way to go Heather! That is awesome! You really should celebrate. I would love to get the sharpshooter as well, but I have a long way to go still.

Thanks everyone!
Krista - LOL! I'm looking at projects for the expert level. I've got a book from the library about origami with money, but it looks rather complicated! I'm going to give it a try but I don't have very high hopes of getting a good result.

I found a hanging flower origami pattern that I really want to make! I think this is what I will make for my expert badge! I am going to make it for Everleigh, so I will have her pick out the colors she would like.

I finished another badge that I need to apply for! I have been working on the beginner level of Chillover Comeover. My kids and I decided to make the "Where'd You Get Those Pies" pie from MaryJane's Ideabook! Then we shared the pie with my parents when they came over. Everyone thought it tasted really good.

Hi, Krista! Congratulations on your Origami Expert badge! I completed my expert badge when I made an Easter Chick. I didn't have the right paper so he came out kind of large and a bit clunky. However, he is still very cute and will come out of storage again this Easter! I have gotten some cute patterns on YouTube. The videos have been easy to follow and fun to do! Enjoy your Origami craft!

I have applied for the Beginning UFO Badge.
The bags and bins of unfinished projects – planned and not executed, started and almost finished, half-finished, mending – were out of control. They were everywhere – the living room, dining room, bedroom and in the deep, dark dungeon of the basement storage room along with boxes and boxes of craft supplies, fabric and yarn. Sorting all this would be a large job.
I started with UFOs residing in living spaces. I put each one in separate bags, named them and entered the name, type of craft, purpose, supplies needed, what stage of completion, where it is located, the goal of the project once it is finished, and the date I finished the project.
The spreadsheet is now an Xcel workbook with tabs called Current UFOs, Mending and Finished. I am completely happy with this set up and find it very helpful as I can sort the list in a variety of ways. It is a useful database.
I didn’t get to the basement storage room until some people broke into the building, went into the basement, and stole whatever they could find. They got into my storage room because it wasn’t locked. How disappointed they must have been to find almost nothing except fabric, yarn and clothes that needed mending. I received permission from the HOA to place my boxes in the laundry room and go through the entire contents of every box. I picked up some fresh boxes from my job and went to work.
As I removed the contents of the boxes, I sorted everything into Keep, Donate and Toss piles. Three large tubs of yarn were donated to a charity which makes hats for people who need them. Ten yards of felt, a small pile of kits and other supplies I no longer needed were donated to a quilt shop for their fundraising event. I threw away very little, mostly broken or damaged things I couldn’t fix. Next, I sorted all I wished to keep into boxes and bins in categories. The largest categories were Fabric, Yarn, Mending, and Projects. Other smaller categories were Stationary/Office Supplies, Macramé, Crochet Thread, and Craft Supplies. All the boxes are now labeled on three sides and neatly stacked in the storage space. If I need to find something, it should take me less time than before I culled and sorted everything.

This is the first badge for which I have made an application.

Wow! Maria what an amazing job! It must feel so good to have that all sorted. I am working on reorganizing my house right now and all my fibre things need to move up to the attic, so I am going through the same process of sorting. It is actually very satisfying. I think I have the Level 1 UFO badge, but I should look at what is required for Level 2.
