Posted - Apr 13 2014 : 06:53:32 AM our new to us apartment has a teensy back patio consisting of square "tiles" --many of them are covered around the edges with what I call lichen...not mold---
short of getting down on hands and knees- how can I refresh them and make them "clean"-- I also want to be eco friendly in this....

Posted - Apr 13 2014 : 09:12:30 AM You can try oxyclean mixed at the strongest rate. 30 seconds outdoor cleaner will probably work best. It has bleach in it so be careful. Spray it on at a dilution of 1:1 until it is just wet and let it sit for a few minutes. If it soaks in you may have to spray it more than once to keep the surface moist. Then scrub the area with a stiff brush and rinse with water. We use this when we have lichen because it's tough to kill and remove. Good luck!
