Heather, do you make or buy your pads? Nicole

Posted - Jul 03 2013 : 06:31:46 AM I use cloth/flannel menstrual pads, and wear microfiber or cotton panties. Most my pads are black/red/white. And my panties stash for menstruation are black/brown/red/white. I use a bucket to soak them all in. I rinse out as much blood as I can in the sink, then I pour/spray peroxide directly on any blood I couldn't rinse out, and I cover with water in the bucket, till wash. That's usually the duration of my period, about 4 to 5 days. When I wash in the machine, all blood comes out, I never have staining, and so far no bleaching. And I've been doing it this way for decades.
